iDE (operating at ideglobal.org) is a global nonprofit organization engineered to combat poverty through market-based solutions. Headquartered in Denver, United States, iDE empowers entrepreneurs in some of the world’s poorest regions by integrating business approaches with agriculture and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives. Instead of relying on traditional aid models, iDE co-creates sustainable solutions with foundations, governments, corporations, and local partners, focusing on technology access, financial inclusion, and market ecosystem connections. This approach enables smallholder farmers and rural communities to increase incomes, build resilience to climate shocks, and achieve long-term economic independence. With a presence spanning 14 countries and a team of over 1,300 changemakers, iDE bridges the gap between international development and the private sector to deliver scalable, locally led impact.
