About The Role:
The Content Strategist (internally titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO) is a client-facing role responsible for:
- Daily client deliverables
- Creating and managing custom client strategies
- Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders
This role focuses on Enterprise clients and requires a deep understanding of service lines and their business-wide impact to develop holistic marketing strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Develop custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve NSMs (Non-Specified Metrics). Use project phases, client goals, campaigns, and historical performance to optimize strategies. Key focus areas include:
- LTV:CAC modeling
- Customer Generation
- Share of SERP
- Content Production
- Goal Setting: Set client goals using data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs. Goals must be approved by the Associate Director (AsD) before presentation to clients.
- Project Management: Ensure strategy execution using Asana. Delegate tasks to specialists, clients, and internal teams, ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with content writers and designers to deliver high-quality campaigns on time.
- Internal and External Communication: Serve as the primary interface between clients and the team. Build strong client relationships and proactively communicate progress, timelines, and roadblocks to clients and internal leadership.
- Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients via:
- Bi-weekly meetings (reporting on NSM progress and deliverables)
- Monthly reports
- Quarterly reports
- 2 Bi-Annual business review presentations
What You'll Bring:
- A proven track record in implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- Analytical skills to interpret website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics
- Strong communication skills for client-facing roles and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
- Proven organizational, project, and time management skills
- Passion for digital marketing, SEO, and content
- Agency experience and B2B tech/SaaS experience required
- Drive to stay ahead of industry trends, including AI and automation
Goals:
- NSM Attainment: 100%
- MRR Retainment: 96%
- CSAT > 4.2
- Upsells / Cross-sells / Referrals:
- Grow clients into additional service lines (e.g., SEO or Paid Media)
- Increase budgets in current service lines (e.g., content, SEO, or Paid Media)
- Leverage relationships to secure referrals (e.g., when clients change jobs or leave high CSAT scores)
