Account Executive (Mid-Market) at MaintainX (Autodesk Operations Solutions)

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams, serving over 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo. It manages 13.9 million assets and 79.5 million completed work orders, helping reduce unplanned downtime and optimize operations.

In August 2026, MaintainX joined Autodesk Operations Solutions, part of Autodesk’s strategy to unify design, manufacturing, and operational data into a continuous lifecycle. Autodesk’s focus is on converging these phases to improve asset performance and inform future designs.

We are seeking an Account Executive based in Canada, the US, or our primary hubs in Montreal, Toronto, Austin, Denver, or Raleigh.

This role offers full ownership and accountability for a defined market at MaintainX. You will manage the entire sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, demo, and closing—while working with mid-market companies (250 to 5,000 employees). The role requires handling complex deal cycles and transactional deals, demanding high performance and adaptability.

What You’ll Do:

• Close new accounts and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Prospect and contribute to your own pipeline alongside leads from marketing and BDR teams.
• Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and closing presentations.
• Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with ±15% accuracy.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including leads, demos, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Master Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales tech stacks.
• Develop thought leadership in the industry and continuously learn.
• Embrace a startup mentality and drive results.

About You:

• B2B sales experience.
• 3+ years of total sales experience in a closing role.
• Documented success as a closer with articulated metrics and data.
• Willingness to prospect and build your own pipeline.
• Experience conducting discovery calls and product demos.
• Ability to multi-task, move fast, and maintain high energy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Insanely detail-oriented and organized.
• Personality traits: positive, passionate, creative, smart, and high-character.
• Fluency in English for daily communication with US/English Canada markets.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, or similar tech stacks.
• Background in startups or entrepreneurial organizations.
• Experience with CMMS or facility operations software.
• Documented success in a remote work setting.
