Senior Performance Creative Strategist (Claude-Native) at Pearmill

The role in a nutshell: Pearmill is a Claude-native performance creative agency, specializing in B2B SaaS, fintech, and AI companies, plus D2C brands. You’ll be the creative brain on some of our biggest accounts, responsible for finding the buyer and the hook, building the strategy, and running each round with our production team. You’ll also create ads yourself in Claude to sharpen briefs and jump in when needed. Additionally, you’ll develop Claude skills that enhance team efficiency.

Ready to run: You should be able to own a major account within your first few weeks, thinking beyond the ad to the client’s business needs.

You'll have a team: Our designers, motion designers, and UGC producers handle most of the work. You’ll collaborate with other strategists, a Growth Manager, and media buyers on each account.

What you'll do

• Research each account in Claude (ICP, buying committee, reviews, sales calls) and analyze competitors.

• Build the strategy: core audience, messaging pillars, micro-audiences, and hooks.

• Run each round from brief to delivery with designers, motion designers, and UGC producers.

• Create ads in Claude when it’s faster or the round requires it.

• Analyze results with media buyers beyond clicks, focusing on leads, pipeline, and CAC, and iterate, scale, or kill campaigns.

• Present rounds to clients and lead the creative section of new business pitches.

• Bring a point of view: identify trends in creative and AI, and share insights with the team, clients, and Pearmill’s audience.

• Develop Claude skills and agents to automate research, briefing, QA, and reporting, and encourage team adoption.

Claude is central to your work. Expect to demonstrate how you use it.

• Research: Claude, Meta Ad Library, Motion or Foreplay.

• Production: Claude projects and skills, AI image and video tools, Figma.

• Analytics: Claude connected to Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads data, plus Motion.

Who you've worked with

A lot of our clients are B2B SaaS, fintech, and AI companies, so B2B experience is crucial. We also work with consumer brands, so versatility is helpful. If you’ve only worked in ecommerce or CPG, expect a steep learning curve.

• At least 5+ years in performance creative strategy, with 2+ years at an agency.

• Owned a major account and think about the client’s business needs, not just the ad.

• Have strong opinions on where creative and AI are heading, and people want to hear them.

• Recent experience in B2B, SaaS, fintech, or AI.

• A trained eye; no formal design training needed, but your portfolio shows taste.

• Know how ads get made and can create one end-to-end in Claude if necessary.

• Claude-native with built projects, skills, or agents. Bring examples.

• Can explain why an ad worked by analyzing target audience and problem-solving, not just entertainment.

• Understand ad compliance: disclaimers, AI disclosure, and FTC rules.
