You will:
- Source and headhunt on LinkedIn at volume, with targeted searches and personalized outreach
- Run screening and qualification calls against detailed vacancy briefs
- Write clear, well-structured shortlists for client presentations
- Keep candidates warm and informed from first contact through to offer
- Coordinate interviews and maintain accurate pipeline and admin
- Take on client liaison responsibilities as you progress
Key details:
Three to five live vacancies at a time, recruiting UK field sales professionals into FMCG, food service, finance, and property. Roles start at ÂŁ35,000 to ÂŁ40,000, targeting serious candidates for serious conversations. Around 85% of placements come through LinkedIn outreach.
How it works:
Remote Recruitment connects South African professionals with UK businesses. You are an independent contractor, paid monthly in rand. Process includes a short screening interview, a recruitment task, and a client interview.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on recruitment or resourcing experience (agency or in-house)
- Experience recruiting into the UK market, with familiarity of UK candidates and employers
- Confident LinkedIn sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter or standard search)
- Clear spoken and written English for UK candidate interactions
- Reliable connection, decent headset, and home setup for calls
Nice to have:
- Sales recruitment, particularly field-based sales
- Exposure to FMCG, food service, finance, or property sectors
- Experience working alongside a senior recruiter in a small consultancy
Benefits
Compensation: R29,000 – R32,000 per month, plus commission on placements
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (roughly 08:00 to 16:30 SA time)
Flexibility: Fully remote from anywhere in South Africa
Growth: Founder’s first hire, building for the long term with room to grow into a client-facing role. Work with an experienced recruiter who has run this model before.
