About the Role

Nen Creative is seeking an Operations Lead to oversee and enhance the day-to-day business operations. This role involves close collaboration with founders and fast-growing tech companies, requiring the same speed and ambition as the teams they support. The position spans finance, contracts, people operations, and internal systems, making it a hands-on, dynamic opportunity for a natural problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.

The ideal candidate takes initiative, works independently, and is excited to build and refine systems that enable the company to scale.

What You'll Do

Financial Operations & Planning: Manage accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting to support leadership decisions.

Contracts & Compliance: Review, redline, and manage client and vendor agreements, NDAs, and other contracts. Identify risks, coordinate negotiations, and ensure business compliance, insurance, and administrative requirements are met.

People Operations & Administration: Handle employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding, documentation, policies, and vendor management.

Systems & Process Improvement: Develop and enhance internal workflows, reporting dashboards, and operational systems. Identify inefficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and proactively implement solutions that drive company growth.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in business operations or finance operations for 3–5 years. Preference for candidates with experience at a fast-growing startup.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This role requires high drive, adaptability, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Proactive and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership. Anticipate problems, take initiative, and drive solutions independently.
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and consistently follow through.
• Experience reviewing and redlining contracts, identifying risks, and negotiating commercial terms is a strong plus.
• Active engagement with AI tools and an eagerness to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows and productivity.
• Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with leadership, employees, clients, and vendors.
