Data Consolidation & Entity Resolution Specialist (Contract)
Job Description
Key Skills Required
Master these to land this role
Want to know if you're a match for this job?
You're a curious, methodical problem solver who gets satisfaction from making a chaotic system make sense. You're fluent in go-to-market language, you're energized by a good puzzle, and you care that the answer you land on is right, not just fast.
You will thrive here if you:
- Dive into the details and aren't satisfied until you understand how the records actually connect and why.
- Take ownership of the whole job, including the unglamorous parts like edge cases, documentation, and handoff.
- Move quickly and make defensible calls with imperfect information, and write down your reasoning so others can check it.
What You'll Do:
- Map how contact and account records relate across our proprietary database and Salesforce, tracing long chains of linked records to determine which ones describe the same center.
- Consolidate related records into a single, trusted center record that answers four questions: is it an active customer, churned, closed lost, or a cold lead; who owns it today; and which product does it use.
- Validate every center you build and assign a confidence level, so Sales knows what can be trusted immediately and what needs a human look.
- Use Google Sheets, SQL where it helps, and AI tools to work at scale, and know where automated output needs human verification.
- Document the patterns, edge cases, and decision rules you discover, and turn them into a repeatable process the team can run after your contract ends.
- Surface the root causes of data problems to Operations and Product so bad data gets fixed at the source.
What You've Done:
- Worked with go-to-market data such as lead lists, account and contact records, lifecycle stages, territories, or ownership, and can speak fluently about churn, closed lost, and cold leads.
- Cleaned, deduplicated, or reconciled messy records across more than one system, and can explain the logic you used to decide what matches.
- Built advanced Google Sheets workflows (lookups, array formulas, pivots, query functions, or scripts) to handle large volumes of data.
- Analyzed data in aggregate to find root causes and themes, not only to fix individual records.
- Documented a process clearly enough that someone else could run it.
What Sets You Apart:
- You've built, or meaningfully contributed to, an entity resolution or data consolidation system that turned a messy database into a usable one.
- You write SQL to query, join, and validate data across sources.
- You've used AI to classify or enrich records, and you built a way to check its accuracy.
- You know the Salesforce data model, including how accounts, contacts, and opportunities relate.
Technology:
Salesforce, Brightwheel's proprietary database, Google Sheets (advanced), SQL (nice to have), and AI tools for classification and enrichment.

Brightwheel
View Company ProfileBrightwheel (operating under mybrightwheel.com, legally DSSV, Inc.) is the premier, enterprise-grade early childhood education operating system, child care marketplace pioneer, and vertical software automation powerhouse engineered to serve as the definitive, high-velocity administration, automated billing, and parent engagement layer for preschools, daycare centers, and camps across North America. Founded by technology visionary Dave Vasen, the platform completely eliminates the severe operational friction of early childhood administration—where small business operators, educators, and working families lose critical time, suffer from fractured multi-agency subsidy tracking, and endure fragmented parent communication due to outdated paper forms and siloed legacy systems—by deploying an advanced, all-in-one SaaS management matrix. Moving far beyond traditional, passive student rosters or generic business billing tools, Brightwheel natively unifies contactless digital check-in mechanics, real-time staff-to-child room ratio compliance tracking, automated paperless tuition billing pipelines, and customized developmental milestone recording into a high-availability mobile ecosystem. Trusted by tens of thousands of early educators and millions of families, the infrastructure stands as the category-defining software standard for the $100 billion early education market. Historically recognized for its famous early venture validation on Shark Tank, the company has scaled into an industry giant valued at over $720 million. The platform is backed by more than $270 million in elite institutional venture capital across strategic growth executions—led by Addition and 9yards Capital alongside heavy participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, GGV Capital, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Emerson Collective, Eniac Ventures, and Lowercase Capital. Under the hood, its technology core utilizes high-throughput payment processing gateways, secure real-time photo and video sharing pipelines, and strict data privacy safeguards built to protect sensitive student records and automate complex CACFP compliance logs without reducing daily operational velocity. What sets Brightwheel apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing administrative overhead with absolute billing predictability, verified regulatory compliance transparency, and enhanced educator agility; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive enterprise mobile architectures and the vital, high-touch demands of daily early childhood classrooms, the organization remains the definitive cornerstone of modern algorithmic education technology and global childcare business transformation.
