What You’ll Do

Independently lead multiple high-complexity, cross-functional GTM initiatives that drive acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention across brightwheel’s Education and Curriculum products.

Own priority Education GTM initiatives and new go-to-market motions end-to-end—from identifying the opportunity and defining the audience and positioning through channel strategy, sales enablement, launch, and performance measurement.

Identify new growth opportunities using customer insights, performance data, and market trends, then develop the strategy and business case to bring them to market.

Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to build the messaging, training, processes, and resources that help representatives effectively position and sell Education products.

Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, events, lifecycle programs, and ecommerce initiatives that support Education revenue goals.

Independently scope and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to diagnose business problems, evaluate opportunities, and build business cases with Finance and Analytics.

Establish operating rhythms, metrics, and systems—including AI-driven automation—that improve accountability and turn one-off wins into repeatable processes.

Monitor initiative performance, troubleshoot issues, course-correct when needed, and escalate risks with clear recommendations.

Communicate progress, insights, and recommendations clearly to working teams, senior leaders, and executive stakeholders while balancing near-term revenue opportunities with long-term business and customer needs.

What You’ve Done

Built 7+ years of experience across go-to-market strategy, growth, marketing, business operations, strategy and operations, or a related function, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.

Led multiple complex, ambiguous, cross-functional GTM, growth, or business operations initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement.

Independently determined how to achieve defined business goals with limited instruction or supervision and delivered measurable results.

Built and executed programs that drove meaningful improvements in revenue, conversion, acquisition, adoption, expansion, retention, or operational performance.

Used quantitative and qualitative insights to structure complex problems and develop sound strategic recommendations.

Applied a strong understanding of sales strategy, marketing execution, customer lifecycle management, ecommerce, or subscription-based business models.

Influenced stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and other functions without relying on direct authority.

Managed multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while creating clarity, securing alignment, and maintaining momentum.

Incorporated AI tools into how you work—not only to increase personal efficiency, but also to build more scalable and repeatable processes.

What Sets You Apart

A track record of taking GTM initiatives from rough ideas to launched, measured programs—more than once—with meaningful incremental revenue, customers, or adoption to show for it.

Experience building a GTM function, motion, or playbook from scratch rather than solely optimizing an established one.

A demonstrated habit of using AI to automate recurring workflows out of your own hands and create processes that can run consistently without you.

The range to move from a working session with a sales representative to a strategy conversation with an executive in the same day, adapting your communication style and level of detail to each audience.

A customer-first mindset and enthusiasm for solving meaningful problems for educators, administrators, and families.

Brightwheel (operating under mybrightwheel.com, legally DSSV, Inc.) is the premier, enterprise-grade early childhood education operating system, child care marketplace pioneer, and vertical software automation powerhouse engineered to serve as the definitive, high-velocity administration, automated billing, and parent engagement layer for preschools, daycare centers, and camps across North America. Founded by technology visionary Dave Vasen, the platform completely eliminates the severe operational friction of early childhood administration—where small business operators, educators, and working families lose critical time, suffer from fractured multi-agency subsidy tracking, and endure fragmented parent communication due to outdated paper forms and siloed legacy systems—by deploying an advanced, all-in-one SaaS management matrix. Moving far beyond traditional, passive student rosters or generic business billing tools, Brightwheel natively unifies contactless digital check-in mechanics, real-time staff-to-child room ratio compliance tracking, automated paperless tuition billing pipelines, and customized developmental milestone recording into a high-availability mobile ecosystem. Trusted by tens of thousands of early educators and millions of families, the infrastructure stands as the category-defining software standard for the $100 billion early education market. Historically recognized for its famous early venture validation on Shark Tank, the company has scaled into an industry giant valued at over $720 million. The platform is backed by more than $270 million in elite institutional venture capital across strategic growth executions—led by Addition and 9yards Capital alongside heavy participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, GGV Capital, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Emerson Collective, Eniac Ventures, and Lowercase Capital. Under the hood, its technology core utilizes high-throughput payment processing gateways, secure real-time photo and video sharing pipelines, and strict data privacy safeguards built to protect sensitive student records and automate complex CACFP compliance logs without reducing daily operational velocity. What sets Brightwheel apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing administrative overhead with absolute billing predictability, verified regulatory compliance transparency, and enhanced educator agility; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive enterprise mobile architectures and the vital, high-touch demands of daily early childhood classrooms, the organization remains the definitive cornerstone of modern algorithmic education technology and global childcare business transformation.
