Requirements
Experience Needed/Responsibilities:
## Video (about half the role)
- Edit short-form video for social across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, working from footage captured at trade shows, customer sites, and product walkthroughs.
- Cut long-form interviews, testimonials, and customer stories into short clips that stop the scroll.
- Produce product demo and walkthrough videos, including screen recordings of our platform.
- Add captions, titles, and light motion graphics.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable clips and b-roll so we can move quickly.
## Design (about half the role)
- Create social graphics and organic content assets across all of our products, including ones that haven't had a single organic post yet. You'll be starting some channels from zero.
- Produce ad creative and variants for our agency partners to run, in volume. When their creative comes back to us, you're the first set of eyes on craft and brand before feedback goes out.
- Design sales and event collateral: one-pagers, trade show assets, and decks. For print and event vendors, you own the specs, files, and production quality; the deadlines and vendor chasing live with the marketing calendar.
- Build email and landing page assets for our campaigns.
- Create product marketing visuals, including polished UI and screenshot treatments.
- Keep everything consistent with our brand and voice.
## Publishing (a few hours a week)
- Schedule and publish your finished content across our channels, following the calendar our Marketing Specialist runs. Roughly 2 to 3 hours a week. You're not our community manager; replying to comments on your own posts is the extent of it. Leads or customer questions that come in through social get routed to the team the same day.
- Write the captions and post copy for what you publish, in our voice, working from real, approved examples, with review from marketing leadership until you're calibrated.
- Keep an eye on how your content performs and bring what's working back into the next round of creative.
- Own and organize our asset library and brand files: every video in one spot, labeled, so anyone on the team can find it in under a minute.
Good to have:
- Motion graphics and animation (After Effects or similar).
- Photography and photo editing.
- Experience marketing to the trades, home services, or small business owners.
- Podcast or audio editing.
Non-negotiable Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience creating both video and graphic design content, with a strong portfolio showcasing professional editing and design work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard creative tools, including Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut for video, and Figma or Adobe Creative Suite for design (Canva, CapCut, and Descript are a plus).
- Strong understanding of social media content and paid ads, with the ability to produce high-quality creative at volume, iterate quickly based on feedback, and effectively use AI tools to streamline production.
Industry/Tools Experience:
Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Descript, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Adobe After Effects, AI tools
