Brand Voice and Community Coordinator

Requirements

Experience Needed/Responsibilities:

- Respond to comments on brand posts in a timely manner

- Leave thoughtful, funny, strategic comments on viral or potentially viral videos

- Repost stories and content the brand is tagged in

- Reply to DMs that are not affiliate-related

- Build relationships with repeat commenters and creators

- Like comments, pin strong comments, and keep conversations active on posts

- Monitor sentiment and flag recurring complaints or feature requests

- Identify viral opportunities and pass them to the social team

- Help source UGC by spotting customers creating standout content

- Join trending conversations in a natural way without forcing the brand voice

- Act as the brand’s eyes and voice across social engagement touchpoints

Good to have:

- Community management experience over general social media management experience

- Ability to adapt tone between TikTok and Instagram

- Familiarity with brand voices like early Duolingo, Ryanair, and Scrub Daddy, while creating an original voice for The Frontal Queen

Non-negotiable Requirements:

- A strong writer who can sound natural, engaging, and human online.

- Understands American culture, especially Black American culture, and understands the nuances behind the conversations.

- Lives and breathes internet culture, from memes and Gen Z humor to spotting trends and knowing what resonates online.

Industry/Tools Experience:

- Instagram

- TikTok

- WhatsApp for internal communication
