Reporting directly to our Business Development Manager and sitting within the Marketing organization, the Business Development Team plays a critical role in driving new customer pipeline and acquisition by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-quality sales-ready opportunities for our direct Sales team.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll often be one of the first people prospective customers meet at M-Files. You'll communicate the M-Files value proposition through thoughtful outbound prospecting, helping prospects understand how M-Files can support their organization while navigating objections, overcoming lack of responsiveness, and ultimately creating meaningful early-stage sales opportunities.

You'll leverage data insights, best-in-class technology, and a range of prospecting tactics to identify and engage key accounts aligned with our Sales team's goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills will be important as you learn to confidently articulate the M-Files value proposition to a broad and varied audience.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Business Development, Growth Marketing, and Sales, gaining exposure to how our regional go-to-market teams work together to generate pipeline and win new customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning through execution, and continuing to develop their skills within a collaborative B2B sales environment.

M-Files (operating via m-files.com) is a premier metadata-driven document management system engineered to help business and IT leaders work faster and smarter. Founded in 2002 and deeply rooted in Tampere, Finland, with global headquarters in Austin, Texas, the enterprise fundamentally redefines how knowledge work gets done. Moving far beyond traditional, fragmented folder structures, M-Files natively unifies built-in governance, powerful automation, and advanced agentic AI capabilities (Aino AI) into a single, context-first ecosystem. The platform connects documents directly to the people, projects, and transactions they support, ensuring information is always accurate, secure, and seamlessly integrated with critical tools like Microsoft 365. Under the hood, its proprietary architecture dynamically organizes content based on what it is, rather than where it is stored, empowering organizations to apply AI reliably at massive scale. Capturing widespread market trust with over 6,000 customers across 100+ countries, and recently achieving "Centaur" status by surpassing $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), M-Files remains a definitive cornerstone of modern information management, transforming disconnected files into connected, actionable intelligence.
