Technical Project Manager

Certa, the AI-first third-party operating system for enterprises, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise software implementations. This client-facing role involves translating customer needs into actionable plans, driving cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment from kickoff to go-live and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Own delivery end-to-end: Manage enterprise implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and stabilization, ensuring accountability for scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

• Build & manage the plan: Break down complex, ambiguous requirements into clear project plans with phases, milestones, dependencies, and owners, while keeping the plan current and addressing trade-offs as needed.

• Lead requirements gathering: Facilitate discovery workshops to surface client needs, document requirements in a structured format, manage sign-off, and ensure traceability through design, build, and testing.

• Run the cross-functional team: Coordinate solution architects, engineers, QA, and client stakeholders toward shared outcomes, removing blockers, resolving conflicts, and ensuring clarity on ownership and timelines.

• Own the client relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading status meetings, steering committee updates, and escalations while setting expectations and protecting relationships.

• Manage scope, risk & change: Prevent scope creep by documenting and quantifying changes before work begins, and proactively manage risks and issues with mitigation plans and early escalation.

• Stay technical, report & improve: Understand architecture, integrations, and configuration decisions to challenge estimates and engage credibly with engineers and technical buyers. Produce honest, easy-to-read status reports and executive updates, and contribute lessons learned to improve delivery methodology.

What You'll Need

• Experience: 5+ years managing technical or software implementation projects, preferably in enterprise SaaS, professional services, or client-facing delivery environments. Track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and within budget as the primary delivery owner for enterprise clients.

• Technical fluency: Ability to read solution designs, understand integrations and data flows, and engage in technical discussions without relying solely on engineering expertise.

• Requirements & delivery craft: Proven ability to run requirements and discovery sessions, translate them into clear, documented business requirements, and master project management fundamentals like planning, estimation, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, and change control.

• Stakeholder management: Excellent communication skills, comfort presenting to senior and executive audiences, and the ability to manage scope, timelines, and difficult conversations without compromising relationships.

• Ways of working: Organized and calm under pressure, with a tendency to over-communicate rather than under-communicate. Direct when necessary and diplomatic when required, with a focus on owning outcomes.

• Preferred: Previous technical roles in engineering, solution architecture, or implementation consulting; experience delivering configurable enterprise platforms or workflow/automation software; fluency in both agile and traditional delivery methodologies; experience in regulated or risk-sensitive domains; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PSM; exposure to AI-assisted or modern delivery tooling.
