Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Reviewer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and committed to delivering high-quality tax compliance services. You should be eager to learn, possess strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while supporting clients with their tax reporting and compliance obligations.

Mission
As a Tax Reviewer, you will be responsible for preparing and managing tax filings, tax returns, and compliance-related matters for clients, ensuring all work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with applicable tax regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain a high standard of client service, and contribute to the overall success of the business through accuracy and efficiency. For progression into a Reviewer role, you will first demonstrate consistent performance and strong technical competency in tax preparation and compliance before transitioning to reviewing and overseeing the work of other team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.

• Prepare and submit corporate income tax filings accurately and within statutory deadlines.
• Deliver high-quality tax compliance services while maintaining excellent client satisfaction.
• Utilize tax technology and internal systems effectively to ensure efficient and accurate tax computations and filings.
• Maintain a strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements, minimizing errors and ensuring quality deliverables.
• For senior or reviewer-level responsibilities, demonstrate the ability to review work, provide guidance to team members, and ensure accuracy and compliance across the team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in Singapore Corporate Income Tax compliance and filing.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and tax return preparation.
• Experience reviewing tax work and ensuring accuracy and compliance is an advantage.
• Previous experience managing, mentoring, or guiding team members is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

The Interview Process

The successful candidate will participate in the following interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.

TA Screen
A 30-minute video call with a member of our HR team to discuss your application, explore your career background, and understand your expectations for the role.

Technical Round
A ~60-minute chat with the Hiring Manager to discuss your last 1-2 roles to understand your experience in more detail.

Soft Skills Assessment
A ~45-minute chat with a leadership team, where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work.

Offer + Reference Interviews
We’ll make a non-binding offer verbally or over email, followed by a couple of short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us.

Background Screening
Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role. This may include using external vendors to verify your education, any criminal history, any political exposure, and any bankruptcy or adverse credit history. We will ask for your consent before conducting these checks. Depending on your role at Sleek, an adverse result on one of these checks may prohibit you from passing probation.

Flexibility: You will be required to work from the office at least 2-3 days per week if you are based in Singapore, UK, Hong Kong, or Australia. For all other hiring locations, the role will be fully remote, with work from home five days a week.
