You Will..
Build and define the program – Own the full provider community strategy: define what 'community' means at Headway, what it should feel like, what it delivers to providers and how it maps to our goals.
Design the full member journey – from newly onboarded provider to active community participant to champion to public advocate – and build the programs, milestones and recognition structures that move providers along that arc.
Find where providers want to engage – establish the right mix of community channels, events and experiences based on where providers already go and where conversations are most valuable for Headway to own – evaluate what we’ve built, what’s working and what should evolve.
Develop the content and programming strategy for each channel – the topics, formats, voices and cadences that make providers feel educated, inspired and connected.
Day-to-day management of all community channels – moderate conversations, surface great contributions, carry provider feedback to the right internal owners and create the conditions where participation feels worthwhile.
Build a system that identifies true brand champions from participants, and engages them as part of our first ambassador program - that makes top contributors feel seen, celebrated and personally invested in Headway’s success.
Harness the power of our brand champions to build a social proof engine, a scalable, systematic process for capturing provider stories, video testimonials, written case studies – and working closely with cross functional partners to amplify across marketing channels, sales motions, etc.
Measure constantly: track what drives engagement depth vs. passive consumption, and reallocate toward the content and channels that move providers from audience to participant.
You’d be a great fit if you..
You've built and scaled a digital community with business results to show for it — not just engagement metrics, but outcomes.
You've designed and produced events (in-person and virtual) that created genuine belonging and loyalty, not just attendance.
You've stood up an ambassador or advocacy program and can speak to how you converted fans into advocates and advocates into a growth channel.
You think of community as a relationship engine and hold yourself accountable to business outcomes, not vanity metrics.
You believe content and community belong together — and you have strong opinions about format, channel fit, and what's worth a busy professional's time.

Headway
View Company ProfileHeadway is a massive, highly disruptive HealthTech platform fundamentally rewiring the broken mental healthcare system in the United States. Headquartered in New York City, the company tackles the critical access problem where over 70% of therapists do not accept insurance due to overwhelming administrative burdens. Under the hood, Headway operates as a powerful, software-driven national network that seamlessly connects patients, mental health providers, and top-tier insurance companies (like Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare). They handle all the heavy lifting for providers—including credentialing, billing, and revenue cycle management—allowing therapists to easily build private practices while accepting insurance. Their primary target audience spans millions of Americans seeking affordable, in-network mental health care, as well as thousands of licensed psychiatrists and therapists looking to eliminate administrative friction. What sets Headway apart in the rapidly scaling digital health landscape is its asset-free network model; by removing the billing nightmare, they empower patients to find highly personalized, covered therapy sessions (often for $0) while scaling to over 65,000 providers and 30 million completed sessions nationwide.
