Senior Java Developer (ERP Platform for Dental Healthcare)

We are developing a modern ERP platform designed to digitize end-to-end communication and operational workflows across the dental healthcare sector. The solution connects clinical practices with specialized service providers, streamlining order tracking, custom product fulfillment, and secure digital asset exchange.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead backend engineering efforts to build scalable, high-availability services that manage dynamic workflow states, business-critical integrations, and high-volume transaction data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience: Solid background in core backend software development using Java (11/17+).
• Spring Ecosystem Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot 3, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Web.
• Relational Databases: Strong relational data modeling and SQL performance tuning skills (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• API Design & Security: Proven ability to build RESTful APIs, manage OAuth2/JWT authentication, and design clean interface contracts.
• Architectural Foundations: Experience with microservices, domain-driven design concepts, and transactional state management.
• Testing & CI/CD: Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and containerization tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).

Nice-to-have:

• Healthcare / MedTech Exposure: General familiarity with health-tech software requirements, data privacy standards, or digital medical record workflows.
• Asynchronous Messaging: Experience with event streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.
• Cloud & Large File Management: Familiarity with AWS/GCP.
• Caching & Search: Hands-on experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or distributed caching systems.
• Monitoring & Observability: Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, or central logging tools (ELK stack) for microservice monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Backend Architecture: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable architecture and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring.
• Workflow Engine Design: Engineer reliable backend services to manage multi-step business logic, status lifecycles, and event-driven notifications.
• Integration & Security: Design secure interfaces to connect internal modules with external systems, ensuring strict adherence to healthcare data privacy principles.
• Performance & Data Storage: Optimize relational database schemas and query performance.
• Code Quality & Leadership: Enforce software engineering best practices through code reviews, automated testing (unit/integration), and technical mentoring.
