Movement Strategy is looking for a Senior Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and elevate our creator programs. You will report to the Director, Influencer Marketing, and work closely with our Creative, Organic Social, and Paid teams.

This is a strategic, data-informed, trend-obsessed, relationship-driven role. You’ll sit at the bridge between brand strategy, creator talent, and creative production, translating client goals into native social concepts that actually land. You have a sharp, instinctive eye for what makes a great creator partner, looking past vanity metrics to evaluate audience authenticity, engagement health, creative versatility, and on-camera presence. If you know how to spot the right creator before the data catches up, and can turn a business goal into a brief that gets authentic, scroll-stopping content.

A Bit About Us

Movement Strategy creates content and campaigns for the world’s most exciting brands. We win awards, make headlines, shatter engagement numbers, and celebrate the journey along the way. It’s why companies like Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, and Intuit come to us again and again.

We’re fully remote with hubs in New York, Denver, and LA, and a presence all across the US. We believe collaboration is what takes our work from good to great, and at times, even to legendary status. We champion diverse opinions and creativity in every department, and provide professional development and learning opportunities with the goal of helping you discover your best work today, and learn how to make it even better in the future.

Key Focus Areas

Creative Collaboration & Trend Foresight: 40%

  • Work hand-in-hand with Creative Directors to co-develop creator briefs, bridging scripted hero spots, native creator integrations, and product demos.
  • Craft clear, inspiring briefs that give creators room to be authentic while guaranteeing client deliverables hit key messaging pillars.
  • Continually monitor and report on emerging social trends, audio cues, storytelling formats, and platform features across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Spot high-value creator partners using an intuitive and data-backed approach, looking beyond follower counts to evaluate voice, brand alignment, and on-camera presence.
  • Analyze visual and messaging performance data to feed creative insights back to talent and the internal team.

Campaign Strategy & Execution: 40%

  • Develop, implement, and scale holistic influencer strategies spanning top-of-funnel awareness down to performance-driven affiliate, spark ads, and whitelisting tactics, in partnership with Paid Social.
  • Manage comprehensive campaign lifecycles across multiple accounts: outreach, rate negotiations, contract execution (exclusivity, usage rights), content review, publishing, and FTC compliance.
  • Manage influencer program budgets, track key metrics (EMV, CPA, ROAS, Engagement), and deliver performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with talent, agencies, and creator managers to build a growing network of long-term ambassadors.

Production & Producer Collaboration: 20%

  • Work alongside agency Producers to plan, schedule, and execute creator shoots across creator-shot and agency-produced/studio environments.
  • Understand shoot mechanics, call sheets, deliverable specs, talent usage rights, and multi-timeline production workflows from pre- through post-production.
  • Serve as the influencer subject matter expert on set, ensuring talent is comfortable, on-brief, and delivering natural, native-feeling performances.

Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in influencer marketing, creator strategy, or social-first content production.
  • Prior agency experience (advertising, marketing, or PR) strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working alongside agency Producers, video production teams, and in live shoot or studio environments.

Trend & Platform Literacy

  • Deep knowledge of platform-specific content mechanics (TikTok visual hooks, Reel dynamics, YouTube Shorts pacing).
  • Experience with creator platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Grin, Aspire, Traackr, LTK) and social analytics tools.

Business & Negotiation Savvy

  • Proven track record negotiating usage rights (whitelisting/dark posting), exclusivity terms, and performance-based contracts.

Communication & Relationship Building

  • Exceptional storytelling, briefing, and interpersonal skills to seamlessly liaise between internal creative teams, agency producers, and external creators.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on content creation: ability to directly create, produce, and/or edit social-forward content.
  • Technical production knowledge: understanding of the mechanics and nuances of content production and experience working within these environments.

Ideal Qualities

  • High energy, passionate, curious, confident, and tenacious in learning, coupled with the ability to navigate the nuances of different client teams.
  • You have an overall understanding of today’s fast-paced social media landscape and have a strong personal interest and knowledge of both leading and next-up influential creatives in the social media space.
  • You’re proactive and naturally curious about the digital and social space, constantly looking for opportunities to evolve the department and advance the work.
  • You’re up to speed on current pop culture and industry trends whether it’s the latest functionality rolling out on TikTok or the next viral meme on the Internet.
  • You exercise both your left and right brains, in that you are both creative and strategic.
  • You’re a skilled communicator with an inquisitive and enthusiastic attitude—ready to learn fast, absorb information fast, and implement fast!
  • You’re innately resourceful when it comes to mining for information and you’re accustomed to always thinking ahead in life.
  • You are a nimble self-starter and quickly adjust to internal and external teams in an ever-changing environment; identify opportunity with bias to action.
  • You have a diverse and inclusive perspective, valuing different viewpoints and backgrounds within the team.
