An established, profitable US-based B2B SaaS company behind a decade-old, revenue-carrying sales-engagement platform (cold email and outreach automation). Small, lean team. This is the most important engineering hire on the product.

What You'll Own:

  • Own the codebase end to end as the primary engineer: ship features, fix issues, keep production healthy

  • Get the stack quiet in your first weeks by automating the manual processes that still eat time today

  • Root-cause and resolve production incidents in live systems with paying customers: memory and heap issues, third-party API edge cases, queue backups

  • Run deploys and infrastructure changes as routine daily work across the AWS stack

  • Build and run your own AI agent workflows in Claude Code to multiply output across the repo

  • Take specced work, fill the gaps yourself, and deliver real estimates you can hit

  • Scope and build new products from scratch during heavier build cycles

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years senior full-stack, comfortable being the primary engineer who owns the product end to end and makes the call

  • Senior TypeScript and Node, fluent across both modern frameworks and long-lived legacy codebases

  • Strong, current Angular, and genuinely energized to work in modern Angular. Someone still anchored to Angular 1.x who has no interest in the modern version is not a fit

  • Strong AWS operations as daily work: ECS Fargate, Lambda, SQS, Aurora (MySQL and Postgres), SES, CodePipeline and CodeBuild

  • Strong production debugging in systems with real paying customers

  • Deep daily use of AI coding tools: you work in Claude Code and have built your own agent workflows

  • You come from small or lean-team environments where you owned the whole thing, not big-company siloed teams

  • You build for the love of it and can show what you've built

Nice to Have:

  • React

  • Email deliverability: DKIM, DMARC, SPF, warmup, blocklists, sender reputation

  • Mailbox-provider APIs: Gmail API, Microsoft Graph, IMAP and SMTP, OAuth

  • PHP and Laravel, Stripe or billing experience, Linux and Ansible, or a sales-tech / martech background

  • Public open-source work, your own agent or MCP tooling, or an active local dev community you can tap for part-time help

Who You Are:

You work well with a lot of autonomy: you find problems, fix them, and report back plainly. You have good product instincts, you think about customer impact, you treat billing code with care, and you would rather delete a dead feature than maintain it. You keep an eye on production because you care that it stays healthy. And you make AI tools a core part of how you work.

Tools and Stack:

TypeScript, Node, Angular, AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, SQS, Aurora MySQL and Postgres, SES, CodePipeline, CodeBuild), Claude Code.

LatamCent is a specialized nearshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and staff augmentation company that bridges the talent gap between North American businesses and highly skilled, bilingual professionals across Latin America. Operating primarily in the remote work sector, the company focuses on building dedicated, full-time teams for US-based companies looking to scale efficiently without the high overhead costs of domestic hiring. Under the hood, LatamCent handles the entire end-to-end process—from rigorous recruitment and technical vetting to payroll and employer-of-record (EOR) compliance—ensuring that clients get top-tier talent in roles such as customer success, IT support, sales development (SDRs), and back-office administration. What sets LatamCent apart from traditional offshore BPOs is the strategic "nearshore" advantage: their talent pool operates in the exact same time zones as the US and possesses deep cultural affinity alongside native-level English proficiency. This allows for seamless, real-time collaboration and a frictionless customer experience, making them an ideal growth partner for SaaS startups, e-commerce brands, and mid-market enterprises aiming to optimize their margins while maintaining premium service quality.
