Senior+ Full-Stack Engineer at Nango

Nango, a YC-backed developer infrastructure company and the leading provider of API access for agents and apps, is hiring Senior+ Full-Stack Engineers to join their core engineering team. Nango lets AI applications connect to the real world through integrations, serving over 700 paying customers, including Replit, Ramp, Mercor, Vapi, Instantly, and Exa. The company has a team of 14 engineers with backgrounds from AWS, Snyk, GitHub, Okta, Netlify, Uber, Samsara, and more, and boasts multi-million ARR.

What You'll Do

• Ship product end-to-end, from backend services and APIs to the dashboard and developer-facing UIs.

• Build the tools developers and agents use to reach Nango, including APIs, SDKs, CLI, MCP, and the web app.

• Work directly with customers to understand their integration and agent use cases, then translate insights into product features.

• Design systems that remain reliable and fast as usage grows.

• Shape the roadmap with high ownership of product and technical decisions.

• Engage with the open-source community, owning and maintaining their repository.

Who You Are

• Possess 5+ years of software engineering experience at a senior level or above, with strong backend fundamentals in APIs, databases, distributed systems, and performance.

• Comfortable working across the stack in TypeScript, from Node.js services to React frontends.

• A product engineer at heart, prioritizing what gets built and why, not just how.

• Strong communicator, proactive, and reliable in a remote-first environment.

• Possess developer empathy, optimizing for developer experience (DX) in every surface.

• Pragmatic, positive, and low ego; steps up during incidents and unblocks teammates.

• Startup-ready, autonomous, driven by ownership, and able to navigate ambiguity.

• Based in North America, LATAM, or Europe.

Nice to Have

• Experience building agents or agent infrastructure in production, such as tool calling, orchestration, evaluations (evals), MCP.

• Experience working closely with customers, such as in a forward-deployed, solutions, or developer-facing role.

• Experience shipping polished frontend work, like dashboards or developer UIs.

• Experience building developer tools or open-source projects.
