The team of 280+ people is driven by humility, innovation, and excellence, having pioneered innovations like the first-ever church mobile app and enterprise software for brands such as Xbox, Microsoft, Samsung, Expedia, and Cisco.

Working at Subsplash transcends a typical job—it’s about meaningful work with a team that values integrity and impact.

About the Team:

The Marketing Team focuses on communicating the value of the Subsplash platform to the world. Their responsibilities include managing outward-facing communications, driving demand generation, crafting go-to-market strategies, overseeing brand management, and creating engaging content such as email campaigns, social media strategies, website content, product identities, and videos. They identify prospects, nurture leads for the sales team, and help existing clients understand and engage with products and new features. The team thrives on turning concepts into reality and discovering effective strategies for Subsplash’s success.

About the Role:

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will report to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager and serve as the second member of a growing product marketing function. Your role involves supporting positioning, messaging, and growth strategy for Subsplash’s extensive portfolio of church tech products, with a focus on direct-to-consumer products and features that advance product-led growth strategies.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring new products and features to market. Your responsibilities include understanding customer lifecycle management, such as free trials, Product Qualified Leads (PQLs), and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. This is a hands-on role where you will review copy, monitor adoption funnels, and use product data to identify growth opportunities.

You are passionate about understanding consumer behavior and meeting client needs. You excel at creating compelling narratives that highlight how Subsplash products add value, from product trials to the complete Subsplash Platform. You have experience managing multiple business units, brands, products, and complex feature sets to create cohesive and compelling go-to-market plans that drive awareness, traffic, and conversions.

Your Priorities:

  • Lead go-to-market execution, positioning, and messaging for Subsplash’s self-serve, direct-to-consumer product lines, expanding the platform’s reach to new audiences.
  • Design and optimize the customer lifecycle from awareness to trial to purchase to upgrade, using product usage and funnel analytics to identify leaks and conversion opportunities.
  • Create compelling product narratives for headlines, webpages, email campaigns, and more, differentiating between product-led and sales-led strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team members to generate demand and drive revenue through messaging and campaigns.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product teams, and key stakeholders from the executive team.
  • Assess and review the product roadmap with Product Management, Business Development, and the Executive team to strategically establish opportunities for success and added revenue, ensuring internal alignment and prioritization.
  • Attend Product Team Sprint Reviews as a marketing advocate for the Product Team and a product advocate for the Marketing Team.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the competitive landscape for both sales-led and direct-to-consumer offerings in the church tech space.

Qualifications:

  • Models humility, innovation, and a drive for excellence.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in product marketing or growth marketing, with direct experience in a B2B SaaS. B2C product marketing or marketing experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with product marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Arcade, HubSpot, ThoughtSpot, or similar) to promote and track funnel performance.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS growth metrics: activation rate, trial-to-paid conversion, PQL volume, expansion revenue.
  • Comfortable and proficient with AI models and platforms (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to improve efficiencies, workflows, and overall output.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience writing conversion-focused copy for self-serve landing pages and in-product messaging.
  • Comfortable building from ambiguity, supporting new sales motions and competitive offerings.
  • Passionate about Subsplash products and their ability to serve churches, ministries, and nonprofits.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple parallel projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of GTM campaign planning, execution, and measurement.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a plus.
