WorkWave is a premier provider of cloud-based field service management (FSM) software, intelligent route optimization, and payment processing solutions tailored specifically for service-oriented businesses. Founded in 1984 (originally as Marathon Data Systems) and headquartered in Holmdel, New Jersey, the company has spent decades perfecting the operational backend for field mobility. Under the hood, WorkWave delivers a massive, end-to-end SaaS ecosystem that handles everything from customer relationship management (CRM) and dynamic route planning to dispatch, mobile technician enablement, and integrated financial billing. Their primary target audience includes small to enterprise-level businesses in pest control, lawn care, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, and last-mile delivery who desperately need to eliminate paper-based inefficiencies. What sets WorkWave apart in the highly fragmented field service industry is its deeply specialized industry verticals (such as PestPac for pest control and Real Green for the green industry), allowing businesses to hyper-scale their operations, maximize technician route density, and accelerate cash flow with deeply embedded FinTech capabilities.
