Remote Recruitment is hiring a Payroll Administrator for our UK-based clients. This is a fully remote position offering South African professionals an excellent opportunity to work with leading UK employers from home. You will work UK business hours and join a supportive, fast-growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for multiple entities
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements
- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for the finance team
- Liaise with HR to update payroll for new starters, leavers and changes
Requirements
- 2+ years of payroll administration experience
- Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Xero or similar
- Understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments
- High level of accuracy and discretion when handling sensitive data
- Strong Excel skills for payroll reporting and reconciliations
