Working within our Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft 365 team, you'll help design, support and continuously improve the platforms that power the colleague experience across Civica's global business.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone passionate about Microsoft cloud technologies, workplace transformation and automation.
You'll work across Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Intune, Copilot and Power Platform, helping to deliver secure, scalable and user-focused solutions while driving adoption of modern workplace capabilities across the organisation.
What you will do
- Design, implement and support modern workplace services across Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Intune, Copilot and Power Platform.
- Manage identity and access management services, including authentication, conditional access, identity governance and privileged access.
- Support Microsoft 365 platforms including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Viva.
- Deliver and maintain endpoint management services through Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
- Support the governance, adoption and continuous improvement of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workplace services.
- Contribute to Power Platform governance, including DLP controls, environment management and operational support.
- Automate operational activities using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Monitor platform performance, service health, compliance and adoption metrics.
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure and Service Operations teams to deliver secure and reliable services.
- Create and maintain documentation, standards and knowledge articles that improve support and user experience.
Requirements
What you will bring
Essential experience
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Experience implementing Conditional Access and Zero Trust security controls.
- Administration experience across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with endpoint security, compliance and device management.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Graph and cloud-native automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for simplifying and automating processes.
Desirable experience
- Microsoft Entra ID Governance and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Microsoft Copilot administration, governance or adoption initiatives.
- Power Platform governance and DLP policy management.
- Identity lifecycle management including joiner, mover and leaver processes.
- Microsoft licensing, service health monitoring and adoption reporting.
- Supporting global end-user computing and workplace services.
Qualifications
- Experience in Modern Workplace Engineering, Identity & Access Management, Microsoft 365 Administration, Endpoint Management or End User Computing.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MD-102, SC-300, SC-900 or AZ-900 would be advantageous.
- Practical experience supporting enterprise Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Understanding of identity, security, endpoint management and Zero Trust principles.
