The role involves taking ownership of the revenue operations cycle end-to-end, from planning through execution and reporting, across multiple business units for a $1BN+ software business integrating a $80M+ acquisition while running its 2027 budget and go-to-market planning cycle.
This position is best described as a chief of staff to the Head of Revenue Operations. You will not own the function but will operate at a senior level, setting your own scope, running workstreams to completion, and representing revenue operations credibly in front of senior executives.
The environment involves operating across multiple revenue-generating business units, partnering directly with the VP of Revenue Operations and Chief Customer Officer.
Key Priorities:
- Take ownership of the revenue operations cycle end-to-end, from planning through execution and reporting, across multiple business units.
- Independently define scope and execute against it, taking direction on outcomes from the VP of Revenue Operations and structuring the work to deliver without needing a blueprint.
- Act as a trusted thought partner to the VP of Revenue Operations and Chief Customer Officer, representing revenue operations with senior executives across Finance, Marketing, and business units.
- Own the reporting and dashboard layer, building and maintaining dashboards leadership relies on, ensuring the numbers behind them are accurate.
- Drive core revenue operations activities through the 2027 budget and go-to-market planning cycle.
- Support integration of a $80M+ acquisition (acquired March 2026, target full integration by January 2027) and GTM team consolidation across business units.
- Own fundamentals end-to-end, including territory design, account routing, Salesforce data enrichment, customer segmentation, annual sales planning, and pipeline/forecasting infrastructure across a fragmented multi-instance systems environment.
- Identify and resolve friction slowing sales teams, such as territory coverage gaps, lead routing inefficiencies, CRM data integrity issues, and forecasting inaccuracies.
- Manage stakeholders across Finance/FP&A on KPIs and dashboards, Marketing on demand generation priorities, and Enterprise Systems on infrastructure and tool rationalization.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated seniority and executive presence with experience interacting comfortably and credibly with senior executives at a $1BN-scale software company.
- Proven Revenue/Sales Operations experience in B2B SaaS, PE-backed environments, or scaled organizations, or equivalent strategy consulting experience.
- End-to-end ownership with a track record of defining scope, structuring plans, and delivering outcomes independently.
- Salesforce power user with ability to own CRM data integrity, perform basic administration, and troubleshoot configurations in messy legacy instances.
- HubSpot experience with hands-on familiarity, as both are actively used across the business.
- CPQ experience with Salesforce CPQ or equivalent quote-to-cash configuration, including pricing, product, and quoting structures.
- Multi-Salesforce instance and post-acquisition integration experience with direct exposure to consolidating or integrating CRM environments.
- Dashboarding and reporting ownership with demonstrated experience in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Strong data analytics with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Super-user proficiency with Gong for forecasting and call intelligence.
- Owner mentality and AI-first bias with active use of AI tools for analysis, automations, and eliminating manual work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Sugar CRM, used by international business units.
- Background as a first RevOps hire or early-stage revenue operations builder at a Series B/C company.
- Experience supporting a business through a budget and GTM planning cycle in a multi-business-unit structure.
What This Role Is Not:
- An individual contributor executing against someone else’s task list.
- The Head of Revenue Operations.
- A standard Salesforce administrator.
- A pure data analyst with no systems ownership.
- A strategist who advises without touching the system.
