Our client is launching a strategic research initiative with a large bank to explore how technology will transform the bank’s business. A core component of this project involves surveying approximately 500 financial crime executives to understand the evolving landscape of fraud and risk.
This is a specialized subject-matter expert role focused purely on fraud operations and prevention within banking. It is not a general data analytics or survey execution seat; the client already has internal resources to handle statistical analysis. You are here to bring the fraud-industry lens, ensure the right questions are asked, and translate raw percentages into the operational realities of a commercial bank.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on the structure and inputs for a survey targeting 500+ financial crime executives.
- Interpret statistical survey findings specifically through a commercial bank fraud operations lens.
- Develop the narrative around the results, connecting data points to the broader fraud and financial crime landscape.
- Partner with Celent's internal analytics team to ensure the survey design captures operationally relevant insights.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience in fraud prevention, financial crime, or fraud operations within a commercial bank (or equivalent experience).
- Deep understanding of the day-to-day operational realities, technology stacks, and regulatory pressures facing financial crime executives.
- Proven ability to connect operational details to broader strategic industry trends.
- Track record of structuring complex industry insights into clear executive narratives.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior management consulting experience advising financial institutions on risk and fraud.
