Aduro Advisors is seeking bright and talented individuals to join their team, supporting top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. The Management Company Accounting Manager collaborates with an Aduro Controller to support a client base of multiple small to medium-sized Venture Capital firms.

The Management Company Accounting Manager works closely with a Controller to support accounting and operations for Aduro clients, while also managing client relationships independently. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and thrive in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
- Drive the month-end close process and raise follow-up questions to the Controller or client as needed
- Prepare quarterly reporting, including detailed general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement for review by the Controller and clients
- Manage the payroll process, including inputting changes in employee compensation, benefits deductions, and expense reimbursements
- Process accounts payable weekly using Bill.com
- Manage intercompany invoicing and process reimbursements
- Process and reconcile expense and credit card reporting using Expensify
- Review client budgets and compare them to actuals
- Prepare and provide documentation to external tax teams for quarterly tax estimates and annual reporting
- Run the annual 1099 reporting process
