Junior Drafter

As a Junior Drafter, you will support the Sales Consultants and Project Managers by creating accurate design and technical drawings for commercial kitchen and bar projects. You will use Autodesk Revit and other drafting tools to develop layouts, elevations, schedules, 3D drawings, and drawing packages while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create preliminary designs in Revit from CAD drawings or hand sketches
• Produce service layouts, MEP schedules, elevations, and detailed drawings, including 3D renderings for presentations and design proposals
• Prepare complete drawing packages for the Sales Team and Project Managers
• Read and interpret specification sheets and technical literature to inform drawing accuracy
• Revise drawings in response to comments and markups from the Sales Team and Project Managers
• Verify drawings are correct to standards and specifications before issue

Position Objectives:

• Achievement of agreed KPIs through Key Objectives (KO)
• Drawing packages delivered accurately and within required timeframes
• Drawings consistently meet standards and specifications, with minimal revision cycles
• Continued development of Revit and drafting capability, including family creation and MEP modelling

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year practical experience with Autodesk Revit, with a clear understanding of Revit project processes and workflows, collaborative working, and Revit family creation
• Fresh graduates with relevant Revit training, academic projects, or internship experience are also encouraged to apply
• Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Sales Consultants and Project Managers
• Time management skills to complete accurate work within required timeframes
• Communication skills, with an emphasis on reading and writing for documentation and reports
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop practical drawing solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in English to effectively collaborate with foreign counterparts

Minimum BYOD System Requirements

• Stable fibre internet connection (50MBPS upload/download speed or faster) with Backup internet connection
• Laptop with at least 16GB RAM, i7 CPU, Windows 10 operating system, Camera
• Noise Cancelling headset with microphone for answering phone calls and attending video meetings
• Work location must have minimal distractions and background noise
