South AfricaJob Description
Key Skills Required
Master these to land this role
Want to know if you're a match for this job?
You will take over the hands-on HubSpot work that the consultancy's founder currently manages. The founder remains involved in strategy and project management, while you handle the platform day-to-day, ensuring the client receives support every working day instead of just two days a week.
The role starts at 20 hours per week, ideally spread across four hours daily over five days, to provide consistent coverage for the client. The plan is to transition to full-time (45,000 R per month) in approximately two months as the client base grows. This arrangement accommodates those who prefer reduced hours initially and full-time commitment later.
The team is based in Cape Town and operates in-person. You will have regular check-ins and access to hot-desking, making this a Cape Town-based role rather than remote.
Key Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day HubSpot setup for one client account, including workflows, properties, lists, pipelines, forms, and dashboards.
Serve as the client’s primary point of contact during agreed working hours, every business day.
Maintain clean CRM data through imports, deduplication, segmentation, and regular audits.
Develop and extract reporting for the client’s marketing and sales teams.
Document configured setups and the reasoning behind them.
Escalate any strategic or commercial concerns to the founder rather than making unilateral decisions.
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with HubSpot, including workflows, custom properties, lists, and reports—not just basic usage.
Strong practical skills in CRM data management, such as imports, deduplication, segmentation, and reporting.
The ability to manage a direct relationship with a UK client.
Availability for 20 hours per week during UK business hours initially, with a transition to full-time later.
Based in Cape Town or nearby to join the team in person.
Nice to Have
HubSpot certifications, particularly in Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, or Data Management.
Experience in B2B marketing or sales operations.
Background in an agency or consultancy environment where clients are external.
