Backend Developer (React, Node.js, TypeScript) - Remote/Hybrid

We are looking for a skillful Backend Developer to join one of our teams working with US clients—referrals from the high-end American IT market.

Our tech stack is built around React, Node.js and TypeScript. We are working with well-established companies and sometimes startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diversity and exciting challenges while crafting cutting-edge solutions.

Contract summary:

• Rate: PLN 6,000 - 10,000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 6,000 - 8,300 brutto (UZL)
• Contract: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite as preferred), Polish time zone, Europe-based, flexible hours, full-time position, long-term contract, Scrum Teams and more

Your future tasks:

• Writing personal-best possible JS/TS code with OOP flavor
• Technical involvement in the product—finding ways to improve it
• Writing documentation for delivered code
• Peer code review
• Reuse and improve the company knowledge base
• Communicate with the team to efficiently translate business complexity (user stories/tasks) into solutions (end results/estimations)

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• At least 6-12 months of commercial experience with Node.js
• Understand basic JS concepts (ES 2018+), use Classes, and follow recent additions/functionalities
• Basic experience with at least one Node.js backend framework (e.g., Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, etc)—know basic APIs/features, worked on at least 1 project involving such technologies, would be great to have commercial experience in it
• Know what OOP is, understand basic good practices and data structures, want to have a SOLID and DRY code with the use of design patterns
• Have worked with SQL database (integration-wise) with ORM or query builder tool (e.g., Prisma, Knex)
• Know how to use AI, but understands the consequences of its use and can independently write code without its support
