We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in front-end engineering. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling our new GoodLeap Pros platform for home contractors. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build systems that are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end frameworks and shared component libraries across the product line
- Utilize AI-driven software processes to build and expand GoodLeap Pros front-end and full stack services in a variety of technologies
- Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions as you lead initiatives within the Pros Selling organization
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in AI-driven software development
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high system availability
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- 5+ years of front-end software development experience using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Experience developing across the full software stack in conjunction with AI and agentic software development practices
- Ability to design systems that are secure, scalable, and resilient to failure
- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to go along with a collaborative mindset
- A passion for clean code, continuous improvement, and best practices in software engineering
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with mobile development (especially Flutter), three.js, shadcn/radix, TanStack, and Python
