The Opportunity
An opportunity to join the new logo sales team as a Technical Sales Executive. Reporting to the CRO, you’ll be part of a small team focused on new logo acquisition, targeting accounts where the buyer or key champion is technical: Data, Engineering, Product, or Ecommerce tech leads evaluating how EDITED’s API and MCP server integrate with their existing stack.
You’ll run a full sales cycle end-to-end. This is a quota-carrying sales role, not pre-sales or Sales Engineering. The key difference is your credibility with technical decision-makers from the first call.
What You’ll Be Doing As A Technical Sales Executive
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions to both commercial and technical audiences
- Run early technical conversations, guiding prospects’ Data or Engineering leads through how our API and MCP server work, confidently
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, collaborating with internal teams (legal, finance, product & engineering) to ensure smooth contract execution
- Drive outbound activity targeting accounts, engaging technical personas who don’t respond to standard commercial pitches
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue on a regular basis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and how AI/API/MCP capabilities are evaluated by technical buyers
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs assessments to understand clients’ business challenges and objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers within target accounts
- Continually learn and develop with respect to EDITED’s solution, technology, sales techniques, and industry news and trends
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For In A Technical Sales Executive
Essential:
- A proven track record of success in enterprise sales
- Experience selling complex software, API, data, or AI/ML products to large organizations
- Comfortable in technical conversations about integrations, APIs, data pipelines, or agentic AI tooling. No coding required, but you must stay engaged in technical discussions
- The ability and willingness to learn, develop, and immerse yourself in the solution
- A deep understanding of the SaaS market and its unique challenges and opportunities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, across commercial and technical audiences
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed
- The ability to accurately gauge, understand, and report on where the prospect is within the sales process
Desirable:
- Experience working in the Retail industry
- A background in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a technical role before transitioning into sales
What We Offer You As A Technical Sales Executive

- Remote and hybrid working options via our London and Sofia offices
