About The Role

An opportunity to join the new logo sales team as a Technical Sales Executive, reporting to the CRO. You’ll be part of a small team focused on new logo acquisition, specializing in accounts where the buyer or key champion is technical—such as Data, Engineering, Product, or Ecommerce tech leads evaluating how EDITED’s API and MCP server plug into their existing stack.

This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role. While the focus is on credibility with technical audiences, you’ll still manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of our solutions to both commercial and technical audiences.

  • Run early technical conversations, guiding prospects’ Data or Engineering leads through how our API and MCP server work, ensuring confidence and clarity.

  • Negotiate and close complex sales deals, collaborating closely with internal teams (legal, finance, product & engineering) to ensure smooth contract execution.

  • Drive outbound activity targeting accounts with technical personas who may not engage with standard commercial pitches.

  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue on a regular basis.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and how AI/API/MCP capabilities are evaluated by technical buyers.

  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls and needs assessments to understand clients’ business challenges and objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers within target accounts.

  • Continuously learn and develop expertise in EDITED’s solution, technology, sales techniques, and industry news.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

Essential:

  • A proven track record of success in enterprise sales.

  • Experience selling complex software, API, data, or AI/ML products to large organizations.

  • Comfortable engaging in technical conversations about integrations, APIs, data pipelines, or agentic AI tooling—without needing to write code.

  • The ability and willingness to learn, develop, and immerse yourself in the solution.

  • A deep understanding of the SaaS market and its unique challenges and opportunities.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, across commercial and technical audiences.

  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed.

  • The ability to accurately gauge, understand, and report on the prospect’s position within the sales process.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the Retail industry.

  • A background in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a technical role before transitioning into sales.

Benefits

We value our team and offer an excellent package! This year, we were recognized as one of the top companies to work for in the UK.

  • Remote and hybrid working options with access to our London and Sofia offices.

  • Enhanced parental leave policy.

  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays (plus an extra day for every year at EDITED).

  • Healthcare via SimplyHealth Cash Plan.

  • Flexible working policy to accommodate individual schedules.

  • Season Ticket Loan & Cycle to Work schemes.

  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

  • Employee Referral Programme.

  • Gifts for work anniversaries and significant life events.
