Submission Review (Financial) Analyst

Core Responsibilities:

Reviewing financial submissions from entities undergoing a financial viability assessment, ensuring:

• All provided details match customer records and are fully and accurately answered.
• Supporting documentation adheres to correct formats and is up-to-date.
• Missing data is quickly and accurately identified.

Checking and reconciling financial information, including:

• Verifying the Entity’s name matches the business name on Financial Statements.
• Ensuring requested periods are provided.
• Confirming completeness of documents, such as:
• Full Profit and Loss and Trading Statement (if applicable).
• Balance Sheet.
• Notes with breakdowns of accounts (if applicable).
• Director’s Statement and Compilation Statement/Auditors Report (if applicable).
• Reviewing Notes/Accountant Statements/Auditor’s Reports for full understanding.
• Reconciling Balance Sheet totals and ensuring all figures are included.
• Confirming reconciliation of income, expenses, and accounts across periods.
• Clearly highlighting concerns or key points relevant to the assessment.

Uploading and mapping financial information to a digital platform:

• Extracting relevant pages from Financial Statements.
• Confirming digitization accuracy of numbers and line items.
• Mapping income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity accounts into correct fields.
• Completing a Google Sheet for platform upload.

Requesting clarifications and additional information from entities, including:

• Communicating clearly via email with External Accountants, Internal Accounts Teams, Financial Managers, CFOs, Company Directors, and Administrators.
• Providing detailed context on discrepancies or gaps in information.

Collaborating with the Analyst Team to ensure all relevant information is relayed.
