About the Role
Step into the role of Strategy Director, the single senior lead across a global portfolio of three apps for one of Phiture’s most significant accounts. You’ll hold the entire account in your hands: overseeing what’s happening across every app, setting priorities, and providing clear recommendations when the situation is unclear. Specialists across various disciplines will route their work through you, and you’ll decide when to bring their expertise directly into the room.
This is a senior strategic position for someone comfortable making decisive calls, defending them, and owning the outcomes.
What You Will Own
- Set the direction. Own a cohesive set of growth priorities across all three apps, ensuring the work aligns rather than operates in silos.
- Make the call. When data is ambiguous or teams disagree, produce a clear Phiture recommendation and stand firmly behind it.
- Translate the technical. Convert specialist work into concise, decision-ready communication that busy executives can act on immediately.
- Guard the quality. Take responsibility for all deliverables reaching the client, ensuring the narrative remains consistent across workstreams.
- Resolve the hard things. Handle cross-app and cross-discipline questions, risks, and escalations, driving them to a clear resolution.
- Stay ahead of the account. Identify opportunities, dependencies, and upcoming decisions before the client raises them.
- Coordinate the team behind you. Absorb incoming questions, assemble the right specialists internally, and provide consolidated answers.
- Lead the big moments. Manage strategic planning, executive updates, business reviews, and sensitive conversations requiring a senior voice.
- Be the relationship. Stay closely engaged with the work and client stakeholders so that no one has to provide context twice.
What You’ll Need
- Substantial experience owning senior client relationships at the portfolio or account level, in a consultancy, agency, or in-house growth environment.
- A track record of setting growth strategy across several apps or products simultaneously.
- Enough depth in mobile growth to challenge specialists, pressure-test their recommendations, and determine when their input is genuinely needed in front of a client.
- Experience leading executive-level conversations, including strategic planning, business reviews, escalations, and difficult conversations.
- The ability to make firm recommendations when data is incomplete and opinions are divided, and the credibility to ensure these recommendations are accepted.
- A talent for condensing complex specialist work into something an executive can decide on in minutes, both in writing and verbally.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with how ASO, UA, CRM, and analytics workstreams interact and compete for the same roadmap space.
- Experience contributing to pitches or RFPs.
