Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-obsessed, and systems-minded Social Medial Marketing Manager to join our core centralized Growth Marketing collective in a full-time remote capacity across Portugal. Reporting directly to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for shaping, expanding, and managing Salsify’s public footprint and audience acquisition tracks across B2B channels. Shifting completely away from passive comment tracking, basic image template modifications, monotone copy editing, or disconnected administrative log checking, you will run an active corporate storytelling lab—partnering face-to-face with executive leadership, content marketing cells, and digital video production squads. This position requires an enterprise tech or software-as-a-service (SaaS) marketing veteran with 3+ years of experience who authors conversion-driving copy fluidly natively using Copywriter mechanics, orchestrates account-based community growth smoothly natively using Social Media Manager guidelines, and commands social search optimization (SSO) systems confidently under strict conversion pipeline goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Lifecycle B2B Social Strategy Ownership: Formulate, launch, and manage Salsify’s cutting-edge B2B social media strategy to drive global brand awareness, categorical trust, community building, and qualified inbound leads cleanly natively utilizing Social Media Manager parameters.
  • High-Impact Organic Content Creation: Ideate, write, and publish high-quality conversion-driving copy, authoring engaging posts, professional newsletters, interactive polls, and feature articles cleanly natively utilizing Copywriter techniques.
  • Executive Thought Leadership Management: Architect and drive our executive thought leadership program, partnering face-to-face with C-suite leaders to manage their public presence, optimize their personal brands, and articulate stories on emerging topics like agentic commerce.
  • Social Search Optimization (SSO) Implementation: Formulate, test, and implement an advanced social search optimization (SSO) process to drive organic search rankings and discoverability across LinkedIn and related social channels.
  • Programmatic Social Listening and Category Mapping: Establish a continuous social listening program to monitor competitor footprints, sector trends, and category conversations, translating real-time insights into actionable content adjustments.
  • Frictionless Cross-Functional Realignment: Collaborate hand-in-hand with distributed Graphic Design, Product Marketing, and Video teams to support holistic marketing campaigns, ensuring visual media assets adhere completely to brand style guidelines.
  • Rigorous Audience Development and Community Governance: Oversee daily community management activities on LinkedIn and secondary relevant channels (X, Reddit, YouTube), executing organic engagement initiatives to nurture a loyal audience of prospects, clients, and influencers.
  • Data-Driven Metrics and Performance Diagnostics: Establish analytical measurement and reporting infrastructure, monitoring campaign engagement metrics and web referral trends to continuously optimize conversions based on empirical insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of verified professional history running advanced social media marketing, digital content strategy coordination, B2B demand generation engineering, corporate communications, or brand agency consulting.
  • B2B Enterprise Segment Sourcing Experience: Documented career history successfully developing and executing multi-channel social media programs tailored explicitly for professional, business-to-business (B2B) software or high-tier enterprise SaaS audiences.
  • Expert-tier capability writing scroll-stopping technical hooks, adjusting messaging tones, and editing long-form articles natively utilizing Copywriter mechanics.
  • Practical operational familiarity configuring content calendars, scheduling campaign drops, and implementing audience tracking routines natively using Social Media Manager methodologies (specifically on LinkedIn frameworks).
  • Demonstrated success utilizing analytical data to track funnel performance and prune ad/organic text paths, ensuring social media remains a strategic driver of pipeline growth.
  • Outstanding written, editing, and verbal communication traits in business-fluent English, enabling uncompromised confidence when collaborating with executive leaders and creating global public narratives.
