TheSoul Group is a leading creator business platform positioned at the heart of the creator economy. Our original videos, animations, and editorial stories inspire audiences in 21 languages, across 60 platforms and 20 websites.
Together with our network of 15,000 talented creators, we reach over 5 billion followers and generate more than 100 billion monthly views on social media.
We’re looking for an Outreach Specialist to own the top of our funnel end to end: from identifying who we should be talking to, to building the lists, running the outbound motion, and handing over sales-ready conversations to our commercial team. This is not a pure execution role: you'll be expected to shape targeting strategy, test messaging, and continuously improve how we find and engage prospects across email and LinkedIn.
You'll work closely with the Head of Business Operations and the wider Outreach/CRM team, plugging into an existing stack (HubSpot, Asana, Clay, Apollo, Smartlead and Meet Alfred) and an active pipeline of niches and campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Define and continuously refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) per vertical, in collaboration with the Outreach team and commercial leadership, segmenting by industry, company size, geography and buyer persona.
- Build and enrich targeted prospect lists using Clay, Apollo and Meet Alfred, keeping data quality and deliverability standards high.
- Design, launch and manage multichannel outbound sequences (cold email via Smartlead/HubSpot, LinkedIn outreach) tailored to each niche and campaign.
- Own outbound performance: monitor open rate, click rate, positive-reply rate and meetings-booked, and iterate on subject lines, copy, cadence and targeting to beat benchmark.
- Handle inbound replies and objections, qualify prospects against ICP criteria, and run first-line follow-up conversations.
- Book qualified meetings and hand them off to the commercial/sales team with full context captured in the CRM.
- Keep HubSpot, our source of truth for outbound data, and Asana fully up to date: contact status, campaign tagging, pipeline stage and warm-lead tracking, so reporting is always accurate.
- Support pre- and post-event outreach around industry conferences and trade shows: targeted sequences before the event, structured follow-up after.
- Collaborate with the CRM/Ops team on tooling, workflow automation and compliance (e.g. consent requirements for email tracking).
- Report on outbound KPIs and pipeline health to the Head of Business Operations on a regular cadence.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience in outbound sales, as an SDR/BDR (Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative), in lead generation or growth roles, ideally B2B.
- Demonstrated experience building ICPs and segmented prospecting lists from scratch, not just executing pre-built lists.
- Hands-on, practical experience with cold email and LinkedIn outbound, using sequencing/enrichment tools such as Smartlead, Instantly, Apollo, Clay, Meet Alfred, Ocean or equivalent.
- Working experience with a CRM (HubSpot strongly preferred) and project-tracking tools (e.g. Asana) to manage pipeline and campaign data.
- Excellent written English and strong outbound copywriting instincts: you know how to get a reply, not just a send.
- Comfort using AI tools to support prospecting and workflow efficiency (e.g. AI-assisted enrichment, message drafting, research automation) as a core part of your day-to-day skillset.
- A genuine end-to-end mindset: comfortable owning research, outreach, qualification and handoff, not just one slice of the funnel.
- Data-driven and self-critical: you read your own OR/CR/reply-rate numbers and adjust before being asked to.
- Autonomous and organized: able to manage multiple concurrent campaigns remotely, across time zones, with minimal oversight.
Nice to Have
- Experience in media, entertainment, OTT, licensing, or another relationship-driven B2B industry.
Benefits
- Flexible Engagement Structure: This opportunity is offered under an independent service-provider agreement, giving you the freedom to shape how you deliver your expertise. You define your own working methods, organise your schedule independently, and contribute your skills to clearly scoped projects. Compensation is agreed individually and reflects your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to each engagement.
- Location Freedom: You can deliver services from any suitable location that supports high-quality outcomes, whether that’s your home office, a co-working space, or wherever you feel most productive and inspired. What matters most is the impact you create and the reliability of your delivery.
- Global Network and Inspiring Projects: You’ll collaborate with a diverse international network of professionals across 85+ countries, contributing to projects that reach vast audiences and help shape the future of digital content. This is an opportunity to work alongside talented specialists, exchange ideas, and be part of meaningful initiatives with real global reach.
- Smooth Collaboration and Project Support: To enable efficient service delivery, we provide modern collaboration platforms, clear project coordination, and streamlined processes. This helps you focus your energy where it matters most, producing high-impact work and bringing creative solutions to life.
- Make a Global Impact: Your expertise will contribute to initiatives that influence audiences worldwide. Join projects that push creative boundaries and help build the next generation of digital experiences.
