At Rehire, we are partnering with a leading digital marketing organization to find an experienced SEO & GEO Specialist for a high-impact project focused on improving search visibility across multiple consumer brands.
We're looking for a strategic and analytical professional with deep expertise in Technical SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI search visibility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys auditing websites, identifying growth opportunities, and building data-driven SEO strategies that improve both traditional and AI-generated search performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits across multiple brand websites.
- Evaluate site architecture, crawlability, indexing, metadata, structured data, and overall technical health.
- Analyze AI search visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity.
- Benchmark search performance against competitors and identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop SEO and GEO strategies based on technical findings and business priorities.
- Build topic ownership maps and keyword frameworks aligned with paid search initiatives.
- Evaluate backlink profiles, domain authority, and internal linking structures.
- Audit blogs and content hubs to identify structural and technical improvements.
- Research and assess brand visibility across third-party platforms, including Reddit, Wikipedia, industry publications, and editorial websites.
- Present strategic recommendations and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during standard business hours.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Technical SEO and enterprise SEO strategy.
- Strong understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-powered search ecosystems.
- Experience conducting technical SEO audits across multiple websites.
- Strong knowledge of schema markup, structured data, metadata optimization, crawlability, indexing, and internal linking.
- Experience analyzing domain authority, backlink profiles, and competitive SEO performance.
- Ability to develop keyword strategies and topic ownership frameworks.
- Experience evaluating AI-generated search visibility and optimization opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Semrush (or equivalent SEO platforms), and AI visibility monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About the Position:
- Work Model: 100% Remote.
- Working Hours: Availability during standard U.S. business hours is preferred to collaborate with the marketing team.
- Project Duration: Initial engagement through August and September, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
