About CookUnity:

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

The role:

We’re looking for a curious and analytical User Researcher with a strong grasp of quantitative and qualitative methods. You'll support Product, Design and other cross-functional teams in the Marketplace area with data-backed insights—especially through interviews, usability testing, surveys and sessions recordings.

This role is ideal for a mixed-methods researcher who enjoys turning both complex data and user stories into strategic guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead user research initiatives using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Develop and execute research plans, including screeners, interview guides, usability tests scripts, and participant recruitment.
  • Design, launch, and analyze surveys—interpreting both closed- and open-ended responses to extract trends and user sentiment.
  • Conduct and moderate user interviews, usability tests, and other qualitative sessions.
  • Deliver clear, actionable findings through reports and visual presentations.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design and other cross-functional teams in the Marketplace area to guide decision-making with user-backed evidence.
  • Oversee freelancers to enable delegation of operational tasks and increase team focus on higher-impact work.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in user research, consumer insights, or market research roles.
  • Skilled in selecting and applying the right method for each research goal.
  • Proven ability in quantitative methods, particularly survey design and analysis.
  • Comfortable with qualitative methods, including interviews and usability testing.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to bridge quant and qual insights.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working on digital products with cross-functional teams.

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience owning research projects end-to-end—from planning and fieldwork to insight delivery.
  • Experience querying databases and using SQL to support quantitative research is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with consumer-facing products, especially in the subscription, lifestyle, or food-tech space.

Benefits:

  • 💸 Get paid in USD
  • 🗺 Work remotely: design the life that you want
  • ⛱ Enjoy 15 days of vacation each year from the start date
  • 🎄 16 fully paid Argentinean holidays
  • 🩺 Healthcare Benefit: Monthly stipend to use in your preferred healthcare provider
  • 🗓️ 5- year Sabbatical: After 5 years with CookUnity, you get a 4-week paid sabbatical
  • 🐣 Paid Family leave
  • 🕯 Compassionate Leave: 3-5 days each time the need arises
  • 🧘🏽‍♀️ Flexible benefits, your way: a prepaid card you can use on wellness, learning, food, and more.
  • 🤖 AI-forward workplace: enterprise access to ChatGPT and Claude to help you work smarter and grow faster.
  • 🧑‍🏫 Personalized English coach
