Wrapbook is the AI platform for production finance, trusted by teams at Netflix, Paramount, and Anonymous Content. With backing from Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, Wrapbook empowers finance teams to control their production workflows using AI.
What You’ll Do:
Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for fraud and identity/authentication across the customer lifecycle—from prevention to detection to response.
Prioritize and sequence the joint fraud + identity roadmap, balancing input from multiple teams.
Work directly with engineers on scoring logic and rules, distinguishing between good-sounding signals and useful ones.
Turn analysis into actionable decisions that ship, writing clear decision docs with recommendations.
Act as incident commander for fraud incidents, coordinating engineering, Client Ops, GRC, Treasury, and Security, while evolving playbooks.
Define and instrument fraud and identity health metrics, including detection accuracy, authentication coverage, and customer friction.
Push back on stakeholders with evidence when new signals, vendors, or enforcement changes waste friction budgets without reducing risk.
Partner with Legal/GRC on compliance-adjacent surfaces like KYC/AML posture and audit walkthroughs.
What You’ll Have:
Owned a fraud, risk, or identity product surface at a payments, fintech, or marketplace company.
Fluency in detection tradeoffs: precision vs. recall, cost of false positives, and finite friction budgets.
Experience working directly with engineers on scoring logic and schemas.
Experience running or co-running incident response, focusing on operational orchestration.
AI fluency and experience using AI to improve fraud lifecycle speed, accuracy, and automation.
A track record of decision docs that were acted upon and shipped.
Experience in build/buy decisions around fraud platforms.
Comfort pushing back on senior stakeholders with evidence.
Excellent written communication skills, as Wrapbook is a document-forward, remote-first culture.
Extra Points If You Have:
Advanced financial industry certifications (CPA, CFA, CFE, etc.).
Payroll, payments, or money-movement experience.
KYC/AML domain knowledge or vendor/AP fraud experience.
Hands-on experience with Auth0 or comparable identity platforms.
Exposure to synthetic and AI-generated identity fraud patterns.
Experience wearing multiple hats and solving fraud problems hands-on.
