Senior-Level UX Researcher

What You Will Do:

• Spearhead holistic user research initiatives spanning digital commerce and enterprise portals, directing efforts from initial scope formulation to strategic actionable guidance.
• Design and execute user interviews, usability evaluations, concept testing, card sorting, alongside diverse qualitative evaluation techniques.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Insights, Marketing, and Commercial partners to surface critical research priorities.
• Synthesize investigative work into impactful deliverables, such as journey maps, entry point analysis, Jobs to Be Done, page-level goals, and friction mapping.
• Assess user experiences by integrating qualitative findings with analytics metrics, experimentation outcomes, and heuristic standards.
• Articulate themes effectively to leadership, tying customer motivations directly to overarching business and product metrics.
• Elevate internal research operations through scalable frameworks, standardized templates, and lightweight workflows that streamline design validation choices.

This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco, San Diego, or Boston.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of dedicated user research practice, showcasing a proven history of guiding end-to-end studies that directly shape product strategy.
• Proven background evaluating digital commerce platforms alongside B2B, enterprise, SaaS, or complex web applications.
• Exceptional qualitative research mastery—specifically in-depth interviews, usability studies, core synthesis, and distilling key insights responsibly from small user cohorts.
• Modern AI-driven methodology: Skillfully leverages cutting-edge AI tools to streamline participant recruitment, session moderation, transcript analysis, research repositories, and knowledge sharing—while maintaining rigorous standards around data privacy, ethics, and study integrity.
• Deep expertise deploying customer journey mapping, Jobs to Be Done, page-level objective definitions, heuristic reviews, and comprehensive experience audits.
• Adept at unifying qualitative insights with quantitative metrics, telemetry, and experiment results to form cohesive narratives.
• Outstanding workshop facilitation and communication abilities that build consensus across executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Practical exposure to centralized research repositories, behavioral analytics suites, experimentation tools, and scalable research operations.
• Track record of establishing or scaling a high-impact research function within rapidly expanding organizations or agile startup environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience researching health, wellness, digital health, healthcare, or wearable technology products.
• Experience working across international markets and diverse user groups.
