At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong experience in Documentum to join our UniQue team.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Work with a skilled team as an experienced key member on analysis, design, and implementation of Enterprise, Java-based solutions for our customers
- Maintain and evolve existing software applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
- Close cooperation with client teams and follow up business requirements
- Produce and maintain technical and system documentation
- Validate technical feasibility and propose alternative solutions
- Coach and guide young team members
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- A Bachelor degree with minimum 7 years of professional experience in the IT field, with at least 4 years in Java-based solutions (preferably Java 17 or above)
- An in-depth knowledge of the Java platform, object-oriented programming, and dependency injection
- Strong experience with Documentum upgrade
- Strong experience in SOAP and RESTful web services
- Very good knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software design
- Solid experience with code quality metrics and test coverage
- Solid experience in relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Solid experience in Java EE Application Servers (e.g., Wildfly)
- Very good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to design and implement solutions with minimal supervision
