About the Role:

As the Senior Growth Manager for the Canada-Nigeria corridor, you will drive LemFi’s expansion across Nigerian communities in one of our most critical markets. This role requires you to balance travel to key diaspora hubs for community engagement and managing high-leverage organic growth. You will:

  • Travel across Canada 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing on-the-ground presence in new cities, attending community events, and building partnerships with local leaders and organizations.
  • Develop and execute tailored user acquisition strategies for Nigerian ex-pat communities in Canada, owning growth targets and optimizing campaigns using data and insights.
  • Source, negotiate directly with, and manage influencers, creators, key community leaders, and external agencies to drive scalable organic growth.
  • Lead community-driven initiatives, organize local events, and build trust and advocacy for LemFi while rigorously tracking campaign performance and customer acquisition costs.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with organizations and businesses to accelerate user growth, ensuring measurable outcomes tied to user acquisition.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences, providing actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams.

Your Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, or marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian community in Canada, with cultural fluency and comfort in immersing yourself in new cultural environments.
  • Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results, motivated by ambitious goals and comfortable with clear KPIs.
  • Strong data-driven mindset, interpreting data, tracking performance, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, with persuasive communication skills to influence partners and leaders.
  • Entrepreneurial and tenacious, taking ownership, pushing through obstacles, and acting decisively with a bias for action.
  • Self-motivated, effective in remote environments, and willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends to support market growth.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets.
  • Background in fintech, payments, or diaspora-focused products.
  • Established network within diaspora communities.
