Job Overview

Spring Health is hiring a Senior Data Analyst within their Business Intelligence organization to collaborate with the Medical Affairs team. This team focuses on clinical improvement for members and quality assurance for providers. The role involves defining KPIs, tracking outcomes, and conducting exploratory analyses to drive strategic decision-making and program evolution. The ideal candidate will excel at translating technical work into language clinicians can understand.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with Medical Affairs to define, refine, and evolve key metrics and KPIs as programs scale across new conditions and services.
• Build, document, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in tools like Omni & Hex to empower non-technical users to monitor clinical outcomes and provider quality.
• Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to address emerging business and clinical questions.
• Identify trends and gaps in clinical improvement initiatives and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Support data integrity efforts by contributing to dbt models and ensuring scalable data structures.
• Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to ensure Medical Affairs has access to necessary data sources.
• Serve as a data advisor to Medical Affairs leadership, shaping success metrics and informing strategic initiatives.
• Work with the data science team to analyze major trends and understand their drivers.
• Provide training, documentation, and support for dashboards and data products to ensure effective utilization.
• Ensure accurate and consistent reporting and documentation of metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain core data models in dbt and ensure data consistency.
• Utilize an AI-forward approach, leveraging machine learning concepts and AI-derived data for clinical and operational insights.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and provide updates on work status and bandwidth via Jira and Slack.

What You’ll Bring
