Want to know if you're a match for this job?
Triple Whale is the AI operating system built for modern ecommerce. We help you see what’s actually working in your business, what’s not, and what to do next. Then we take action for you — pausing the underperforming ad, generating the next batch of creative, flagging the inventory risk before it bites.
We pull every signal in your business into one place, and put it on the most trusted measurement foundation in the industry. And on top of that, we give you the most actionable AI in commerce — Moby 2 — letting you tap any LLM you want, grounded in the full context of your business. Moby 2 doesn’t just surface insights, it executes decisions for you, with automations that make the rest of your stack smarter.
The result: more than 65,000 brands like Pressed Juicery, OUAI, and True Classic turn mountains of complex data into actions that actually grow profit, at a speed and scale that is not humanly possible.
What you’re applying to
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to create qualified sales opportunities with ecommerce brands across EMEA.
You’ll identify relevant accounts, research the people behind them and start conversations about business problems Triple Whale can help solve. You’ll qualify whether there is a genuine reason to explore further and arrange a clear next step with an Account Executive.
This is a proactive prospecting role. You won’t rely solely on inbound enquiries or work through a list with the same message for every company. You’ll combine targeted outbound with timely follow-up on marketing-generated interest, adapting your approach to the account, buyer and market.
The priority is not simply booking more meetings. It’s creating relevant conversations that develop into qualified pipeline.
What you’ll do
- Build a focused prospecting plan. Work with Account Executives to prioritise ecommerce brands that fit Triple Whale’s customer profile and agree account ownership before outreach.
- Research accounts and relevant buyers. Understand the brand’s business, likely priorities and the people responsible for ecommerce, marketing and growth.
- Create opportunities through outbound prospecting. Use phone, email and LinkedIn to reach relevant buyers with a clear reason for contacting them.
- Make outreach specific and useful. Connect your message to an observable business signal or relevant challenge rather than lead with a generic product pitch.
- Follow up on marketing-generated interest. Respond promptly to demo requests, event engagement and campaign enquiries, using the context of each interaction to guide the conversation.
- Run initial qualification conversations. Establish customer fit, the business problem, relevant stakeholders and whether there is a credible reason to take the next step.
- Book and support meaningful sales meetings. Set a clear agenda, confirm attendance and give the Account Executive the context needed to continue the conversation.
- Develop longer-term prospects. Maintain appropriate follow-up with relevant accounts that are not ready to buy, coordinating with Marketing’s nurture programmes to avoid conflicting messages.
- Keep CRM records accurate. Document account research, outreach, qualification, objections and agreed next steps. Respect contact preferences, opt-outs and applicable outreach requirements.
- Improve the prospecting approach. Review calls and messages, test different approaches and share recurring buyer needs and objections with Sales and Marketing.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in sales development, business development, or a similar customer-facing role where you’ve proactively started commercial conversations. Experience with ecommerce brands or B2B SaaS is a plus.
- Confidence making outbound calls and engaging prospects who weren’t expecting to hear from you.
- Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to identify a relevant reason to reach out and communicate it clearly and concisely.
- Good listening skills and thoughtful questions that uncover business needs and distinguish genuine sales potential from surface-level interest.
- Strong organisation and follow-through, keeping accounts, conversations, and commitments on track.
- A willingness to learn, apply coaching, and test new approaches to improve results.
- Clear written and spoken English and French, with the ability to adapt your communication to different buyers and markets. German or another relevant EMEA language is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing technology, analytics, or AI software, and an understanding of ecommerce metrics such as customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, and profitability, would be valuable.
- Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting and sales engagement tools is a plus.

Triple Whale
View Company ProfileTriple Whale is the premier, enterprise-grade data centralization and marketing attribution powerhouse engineered to operate as the definitive AI-native operating system for Shopify and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. Operating as the mission-critical "data infrastructure layer" for the modern e-commerce economy, the company eliminates the severe operational friction caused by fragmented ad network dashboards, post-iOS 14 tracking degradation, and disconnected financial silos by seamlessly deploying an advanced multi-channel attribution engine, zero-party pixel tracking telemetry, and real-time profitability tracking frameworks. Moving far beyond traditional legacy analytics tools or static spreadsheet models, Triple Whale empowers e-commerce founders, digital marketers, and enterprise retail groups to dynamically synchronize their ad spend optimization, customer lifetime value (LTV) cohorts, and media buying pipelines with elite, scalable, and audit-ready precision. Under the hood, their sophisticated proprietary operational infrastructure—bolstered by AI-driven predictive insights (Moby), automated creative testing tracking, and deep domain expertise in first-party data collection—natively orchestrates complex marketing mix modeling (MMM), cohort retention analytics, and unified net profit reporting. What sets Triple Whale apart is its uncompromising dedication to frictionless operational intelligence; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive, high-velocity data engineering and accessible, single-source-of-truth executive interfaces, the firm enables modern commercial brands to radically accelerate their growth velocity, eliminate systemic attribution bottlenecks, and build an unassailable foundation for continuous commercial scaling in the modern, AI-transformed global-commerce landscape.
