Position Overview
The **Product Marketing Manager, Procurement** owns Agiloft’s go-to-market strategy for the procurement space, end-to-end. This role builds the complete plan for selling, marketing, and winning procurement buyers, ensuring the strategy is grounded in real intelligence rather than guesswork.
You’ll act as the critical liaison between **product, marketing, and sales**, bridging market intelligence and product strategy. This involves gathering and synthesizing competitive insights, customer insights, market intelligence, and analyst perspectives on the procurement landscape to shape messaging, roadmap priorities, and packaging decisions. You’ll develop the enablement strategy for sales, marketing strategy for awareness and pipeline growth, and positioning to make Agiloft the obvious choice for procurement leaders managing supplier risk, approvals, and spend visibility. Additionally, you’ll have a direct role in product packaging and pricing for procurement, ensuring alignment with market needs.
This is a **high-visibility, high-ownership role** for someone who thrives on building a go-to-market motion from the ground up, rather than maintaining an existing one. Ideal candidates are energized by working at the intersection of market intelligence, sales strategy, and product strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the **complete go-to-market plan** for Agiloft in the procurement space, covering marketing strategy, sales strategy, and enablement.
- Serve as the **primary liaison** between product marketing and sales, ensuring alignment on procurement positioning, priorities, and execution.
- Build and maintain a **continuous intelligence engine** covering competitive insights, customer insights, market intelligence, and analyst relations specific to procurement and source-to-contract.
- Translate intelligence into **clear guidance** for product strategy, roadmap priorities, and packaging/pricing decisions in collaboration with product management.
- Develop **positioning and messaging** for Agiloft in procurement, grounded in real buyer workflows, approval structures, and budget pressures.
- Create the **enablement strategy** for procurement, including battlecards, objection-handling guides, demo narratives, and playbooks to support sales.
- Plan and lead **go-to-market launches** for procurement-relevant capabilities, coordinating product management, demand generation, and sales.
- Develop **content** tailored to procurement buyers, such as web copy, one-pagers, case studies, webinars, and thought leadership.
- Build the **business case and ROI framework** procurement buyers need to justify investment, backed by real value drivers and customer proof points.
- Identify and develop **procurement customer advocates and references** to support marketing and sales efforts.
- Track performance of procurement go-to-market programs and use data to prioritize future investments.
Required Qualifications
- **6+ years of experience** in product marketing, ideally in **B2B SaaS**, with direct ownership of go-to-market strategy, positioning, or launch execution.
- Knowledge of **procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or source-to-contract processes** is a strong plus.
- Experience with **contract management, legal tech, or sales operations software** is a plus.
- Comfort using **AI tools** to conduct primary business functions is a plus.
- Proven ability to **build and lead a go-to-market plan** spanning marketing, sales, and enablement.
- Experience gathering and synthesizing **competitive intelligence, customer insights, and analyst relations** into guidance for product and business decisions.
- Strong track record **partnering with product management** on roadmap priorities and packaging/pricing decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex buyer problems into messaging that resonates with buyer personas.
- Experience building **sales enablement assets**, such as battlecards, playbooks, and competitive analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort using data like **win/loss analysis and pipeline metrics** to inform strategy and measure results.
- Demonstrated ability to **lead cross-functional launches**, aligning product, sales, and demand generation.
