About the Role
WeTravel is launching at least 5 meaningful features every month across diverse product domains, including:
- A Custom Website Builder to optimize website traffic
- CRM AI features to convert traffic into bookings
- Quoting features for easier trip pricing
- An AI and content library to enhance trip pages
- Checkout improvements for global payments
- AI features for automated Supplier Management
Our mission is to ensure every feature we ship is discovered, understood, and used. We measure success by adoption rates—the share of active clients using each of our 12 product themes, and the number of products each client adopts.
This role focuses on taking each feature to market, ensuring its story is told and clients understand and adopt it. You will:
- Own the feature marketing plan and execution end-to-end, including collaboration with product managers, marketing channels, account managers, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Individual Feature Launches (~75% of time)
- Own the launch plan for each feature and align with commercial teams on communications and activities.
- Drive the channel plan for each launch with the commercial marketing team, deciding what each launch needs from them and when.
- Craft and set up communications (emails, in-product messages, and Loom-style demo videos).
- Update onboarding materials (product tours, emails, and the Onboarding Center) to reflect new launches.
- Run our monthly product newsletter.
- Partner on product content for major events like the annual spring release, Travel Innovation Summit, and Operator Innovation Day.
Adoption of Existing Features (~25% of time)
- Monitor adoption metrics post-launch, identify stalled features, and determine fixes.
- Host live product webinars, partnering on the overall webinar calendar and bringing in presenters like PMs, designers, engineers, and account managers.
- Run ad hoc promo campaigns for existing features needing adoption boosts.
- Localize content into Spanish when required for better communication.
Ideal Candidate
We seek a highly organized product marketer with sharp product sense and strong communication skills. You should:
- Have 7+ years of communication-heavy professional experience, including 3+ years in B2B product marketing at a tech company.
- Write fluent business English that busy tour operators will understand.
- Be an excellent storyteller in writing and on camera, as you’ll be a visible face of our product.
- Have a track record of successful B2B email and in-product campaigns.
- Use AI tools to work faster and reliably while maintaining quality.
- Be comfortable digging into data and surfacing insights.
Nice to have:
- Fluent business Spanish and deep understanding of Latin American travel business culture.
- Experience with CRM tools and customer engagement platforms (e.g., Customer.io).
- Experience with SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and other analytic tools.
- Video and audio editing skills for communication with our busy audience.
Not a Good Fit For
- Someone who prefers to stay behind the brand (this role puts your face and personality in front of customers).
- Someone who wants to set strategy and hand off production (this role writes, records, and ships the work).
- Someone who wants a to-do list (you’ll own your priorities against clear outcomes).
Interview Process
