Workana is the largest remote work platform for talent in Latin America. Our division focuses on matching exceptional professionals with leading and innovative companies around the globe.
Toolbox Widget is a U.S.-based company that designs and manufactures innovative tool organization products, tool mats, and shop storage solutions. With an expanding product catalog and partnerships with major industry players like Snap-On, the company is rapidly growing its global footprint across direct-to-consumer, retail, and digital marketplace channels.
We are looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to take full ownership of Toolbox Widget’s third-party digital marketplace strategy, bringing their Amazon store in-house and launching their presence on Walmart.com from the ground up.
This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals based in Latin America, working closely with an international team in an English-speaking environment.
Role Overview
As the E-Commerce Marketplace Manager, you will serve as the single accountable lead for ToolBox Widget’s marketplace channels, managing catalog integrity, listing content, platform advertising, inventory coordination, and overall P&L performance across Amazon and Walmart.com.
You will lead the end-to-end launch of Walmart Marketplace within the first 120 days while transitioning Amazon management fully in-house. You will work directly with executive leadership, internal content creators, and pay-per-click specialists to drive marketplace profitability, optimize contribution margins, maintain pricing discipline across channels.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the end-to-end strategy, listing setup, and launch of ToolBox Widget’s catalog on Walmart Marketplace.
- Transition Amazon Seller Central operations (FBA and FBM) in-house, establishing SOPs and eliminating agency reliance.
- Build and manage per-SKU contribution margin P&L models accounting for platform fees, ad spend, storage costs, and freight.
- Create, optimize, and manage Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, and Walmart Connect advertising campaigns.
- Ensure 100% catalog integrity, rich media, A+ content, variations, and compliance across all active SKUs on all marketplaces.
- Manage inventory forecasting, reorder triggers, and stock allocation in coordination with 3PL partners (ShipBob) and internal teams.
- Coordinate marketplace pricing with DTC and wholesale strategies to prevent MAP erosion and channel cannibalization.
- Troubleshoot seller account issues, including case creation, listing suppressions, Brand Registry, and reimbursement claims.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Amazon Seller Central operator managing account health, listing creation, and Brand Registry.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Walmart Marketplace, including item setup, catalog health, WFS vs. seller-fulfilled setups, and Walmart Connect.
- Direct hands-on experience running and optimizing PPC campaigns on both Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Connect.
- Strong P&L literacy with the ability to analyze unit economics, contribution margins, and platform fee structures.
- Experience with e-commerce inventory forecasting, stock allocation, and 3PL fulfillment operations.
- High level of autonomy, ownership mindset, and experience collaborating with cross-functional creative and marketing teams.
- Fluent English is mandatory, as the role involves regular collaboration with an international team.
- Must be based in Latin America.
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience transitioning marketplace management from an external agency to an in-house operation.
- Familiarity with Shopify integration and multi-channel e-commerce architectures.
- Experience in the tools, hardware, automotive accessory, or consumer hardlines categories.
- Hands-on experience selling on additional platforms such as eBay, Target Plus, or international marketplaces (UK, AU, CA, EU).
Benefits
- Competitive compensation in USD
- Fully remote work within Latin America with flexible time schedules
- Career growth with international clients and dynamic projects
- This is a long-term independent contractor agreement with no additional benefits such as paid time off, health insurance, etc.
