Core Responsibilities
The People Generalist supports the People team in operational tasks, including Learning & Development, corporate communications, and employee engagement initiatives. Key duties involve:
- Partnering with People Partners to design and execute strategic learning solutions based on organizational needs.
- Assisting in developing and implementing talent development solutions to meet objectives.
- Tracking and documenting compliance with mandatory training (e.g., safety, anti-harassment, certifications).
- Exploring AI-enabled tools to enhance L&D programs.
- Supporting global events like all-hands meetings and fireside chats, including logistics and content coordination.
- Preparing and reviewing corporate communications for global distribution.
- Maintaining intranet pages with up-to-date People policies and procedures.
- Administering and analyzing employee engagement surveys, translating results into actionable plans.
- Managing strategic projects (recurring or initiative-driven) across the People team.
- Supporting performance, recognition, and rewards processes, including system updates and training.
- Applying AI tools to streamline People team processes.
- Maintaining employment files, onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS data.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Handling employment inquiries and referring complex matters to specialists.
What Sets You Apart
- Minimum 3 years of administrative/operational support in a high-speed People team.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, organization development, or equivalent experience.
- SHRM-CP credential or proficiency in HR disciplines (employee relations, culture, performance management, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience coordinating large-scale corporate events (e.g., all-hands meetings).
- Comfort with AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate, and maintain confidentiality.
