Operations Strategy Associate

While you may initially work within one of our Operations teams, the specific projects and responsibilities you take on will depend on your strengths and the most impactful needs of the business. Regardless of your starting point, this role promises high-impact, fast-paced work that directly influences our customers, product, and business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze operational data to identify trends and bottlenecks, then build dashboards, reports, and models that inform key business decisions.

• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies, including AI, automations, and internal tools, to enhance operational efficiency.

• Design processes, workflows, and operating procedures that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.

• Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives from planning through execution, collaborating with Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams.

Here are a few potential projects you might own:

• Redesign how we engage workplaces about switching payment methods, such as transitioning check-paying customers to eCheck, to expedite cash collection.

• Research, vet, and onboard a vendor that integrates AI agents into our customer-facing operations.

• Develop a predictive model that accurately flags high-risk payers early, enabling proactive measures before payments become overdue.

• Take over a team of agents within one of our Operations teams and enhance their performance, quality, and workflows.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of work or internship experience, including roles such as Strategy/Business/Product Operations, Program Management, Consultancy, or Business Analytics.

• Experience solving operational problems by improving processes, designing workflows, or building scalable systems, while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

• Strong data analysis skills with hands-on experience in SQL, Python, or similar tools.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems and align stakeholders across teams.

• A deep curiosity that drives you to reason from first principles and uncover root causes.

• The habit of getting hands-on and verifying information directly, rather than relying solely on others' accounts.
