Payor Partnerships Manager

The Payor Partnerships Manager is responsible for serving as a trusted partner for Equip’s health plans, from implementation through ongoing value delivery, ensuring year-over-year retention, growth, value delivery, and expansion.

About the Role

The Payor Partnerships Manager works closely across internal teams to manage day-to-day client interactions, lead health plan reporting and analytics, and identify areas of improvement and innovation aligned with health plan partner goals. This role requires building strong relationships, supporting contracting conversations, and acting as the subject matter expert for program delivery strategy, panel growth strategy, operational customizations, and outcome metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple health plan partners from implementation through ongoing value delivery.
• Serve as an intermediary to fairly represent partner interests and needs to internal stakeholders, including product feedback, operational design/support, member support, and clinical care.
• Quarterback day-to-day program delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet program KPIs.
• Partner with Patient Acquisition & Marketing teams to execute payor penetration and growth strategies.
• Ensure health plan satisfaction, renewals, expansion opportunities, contract adherence, contract P&L, and contract utilization.
• Produce and deliver high-quality, actionable client meeting agendas and report content.
• Execute a best-in-class implementation and account management strategy to achieve key program milestones and exceed expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• X years of experience (exact number missing in raw text).
• Previous experience in mental health, specifically working with Managed Care Organizations.
• Proven experience working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver against aggressive project timelines using project management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships, navigate complex organizations, and represent both Equip and health partner needs.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent relationships with a diverse client base.
• Key analytical abilities to generate program KPIs and insights for internal and external stakeholders, focusing on operational excellence and superior value delivery.
• A strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly payer and provider-focused roles.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% remotely, with travel to client meetings required at least once per quarter. Must live with immediate access to the airport and reliable transportation.
