Medical Consultant (Doctors) - Remote/Flexible Hours

We’re looking for passionate Doctors to help us support thousands of Australians living with chronic conditions. Join our online medical network alongside other qualified specialists, working from home or from our Sydney office. Choose the hours that suit you: take open shifts on your own schedule, with a minimum of 15 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth consultations with patients — assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication where appropriate
• Deliver prompt, empathetic care that gives patients an exceptional clinical experience on the platform
• Adhere to our platform guidelines and policies, and complete all required training

About You:

• Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or Temporary Resident
• PGY4+ experience required
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • General Practice Training
  • General medical terms/rotations (General Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Immunology)
  • Emergency Medicine
  • HDU, ICU, or Critical Care
  • Surgical terms — Upper GI, Colorectal, General Surgery
• Able to obtain a provider number to facilitate pathology testing only (no use of MBS attendance item numbers — refer and request only)
• Hold valid medical indemnity insurance
• Comfortable using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
• Confident making timely, accurate referral decisions based on your clinical expertise, and steady under pressure
• A clear, natural communicator with patients, health professionals, and team members alike
